I mostly went 5 color good stuff -- obviously I included a lot of cascade, and rainbow type spells. I tried to make this a deck with lots of answers: it has a few counters, and a bunch of removal, and 4 wipes (2 of which Ramos will survive). I have a few Ramos activation payoffs (Bolas x2, Thrax, Charnelhorde, Omniscience, Door to Nothingness). I also have some +1/+1 counter synergy and Voltron protection (2x phasing, 2x indestructible, boots, Sigarda). And some Voltron buffs like Rafiq and Surrak to help Ramos crush someone.

I expressly did not include Progenitus because in this scenario, he's a win-more type card. Since he's not swinging for commander damage, he's merely an unblockable 10/10. Ramos is big enough as is and comes with some evasion (flying). I need my activation payoffs to affect board state. Thus cards like the Bolas's, Thrax, and Charnelhorde all remove cards from enemies, or give me more cards.

I will likely include Sunbird's Invocation after it is released. Thinking it will replace fevered visions, but that's not a great swap in terms of mana curve balancing (also one less color).

I may swap in Villainous Wealth at some point, but it's already a win-con in another deck, and in this deck it would really only serve to make Ramos huge (I don't even really care what the cards I get to cast off it are), and I have plenty of other ways to do that.

You can easily drop $230 off this deck by removing Tropical Island. Its easy to replace without serious loss to effectiveness.I just happen to own that card because I'm old.
