This deck is something like hard blue control deck (e.g. Azami) but with classic chron-den/high tide combo used in Zegana and others. Its goal is to counter my opponents' threats while building my own combo for infinite mana (which does not win on spot with commander but wins with reasonable amount of cards in my deck). It is kind of mix between competetive Zegana (it uses the same win cons but w/o Food Chain), Azami (outstanding CA that allows me to play all of low mana counterspells) and Edric (because extra turns also tend to give extreme value with Rashmi).

Cheap mana dorks and ramp help to compete with stax builds and cheap counterspells can prevent storms or doomsday decks from their fast wins. The trick is that all of those cards make extreme value with Rashmi, which is the heart and soul of this build :).

There are some notable exclusions which are cards that I've tested and sometimes I still go back to them. Those are for example Nature's State, Mental Misstep, Seedborn Muse, Treasure Cruise or Personal Tutor. They are all great cards but not in the current build and not in my current meta.
