"One of the most dramatic ways to try and bring about the end of the world as we know it. Put simply, just set any sufficiently large object on a course toward the Earth, and make sure you're off-world when it hits." - The definition of "Colony Drop", from TV tropes.
This deck is not for people who want to "win consistently" or "play Magic". But if you've ever had a burning desire to style on your playgroup with an intro-deck planeswalker and thirty-five copies of a junk common, then brother, you're in the right place.
The lowdown: Mulligan for lands with extreme prejudice, then pass until you can cast Tezzeret. Using his +1, dig through your deck for combo pieces and play them. Bontu's Monument + Paradox Engine + Pillar of Origins
lets you cast your copies of Rat Colony for free - even better, each time you cast one, you drain each opponent for one.
Now you've got everything together, it's time to go wild. Vanquisher's Banner draws us a card every time we play a Rat, and with more than half of our deck made up of Rat Colony, you've got a good chance at winning the game on the spot.
But for when you absolutely, positively have to kill everyone else at the table in one shot, you use Secret Salvage. All you have to do is get one Rat Colony into your graveyard and Secret Salvage will pull the rest from your deck, giving you more than enough fuel to drain obscene amounts of life from each opponent. If you do happen to luck out and draw Secret Salvage, make sure not to play Vanquisher's Banner - you'll deck yourself before draining your enemies dry.
