This is a deck that I just threw together in my mind over the last couple of days. I want it to be mainly focused on Rats with an aggressive playstyle. It still needs some work but I need some comments/suggestions to make this deck work.
This deck will be focused on Pack Rat and the other Rats in the deck. Here's a small breakdown of the deck and how I plan to win with it.
Pack Rat , Gutter Skulk , and Drainpipe Vermin are the creatures that I plan on being the key to my victory in this deck. Using Pack Rat's ability to not only swarm the enemy but to get an easy 3/3 or 4/4 out on the field really quickly. Mutavault will also help me boost Pack Rat's power if I need it.
Ogre Slumlord can help replace any rat's that get destroyed by my opponent and will be able to keep Pack Rat's power/toughness up. Plus giving deathtouch to my rats will be very useful in taking down any big monsters my opponent throws my way.
Lifebane Zombie can help me remove any threats that my opponent has before he gets a chance to play them.
Gray Merchant of Asphodel is there to cause some more damage whether he gets on the battlefield immediately or late in the game he is always useful.
Liliana of the Dark Realms will help me get some mana on the field quickly so I can get more rats on the field and Ogre Slumlord out early.
While I'm trying to set up my Rats I have a lot of removal in the deck to try to keep the battlefield clear for my creatures to get in there and cause some damage. Such as Hero's Downfall , Ultimate Price , and Merciless Eviction as a bomb. Bile Blight can take away any tokens he has or just any small creatures he may have.
Last but not least I have some ways to control my opponent. One Thousand Lashes to hold any large creatures or threats my opponent has while doing some damage every turn. Blind Obedience will be useful whether my opponent is bringing in tokens or creatures they'll be tapped down allowing me to bring out more rats onto the battlefield. Silence will just give me an extra turn to get more rats out or do anything I need to do.
