This is a budget historic brawl deck that revolves around Rat Colony and oddly enough not the commander.

Ignore tapped out's disclaimer, the deck is legal.

Garna, the Bloodflame is a perfect commander as it allows us to suicide attack, get everything back and haste it at the opponents face next turn.

Even if Garna just sits on the battlefield, rat colonies with haste is nothing to scoff at.

Anax, Hardened in the Forge and Nightmare Shepherd are our primary methods of maintaining board pressure. Anax in particular typically nets 2 1/1s per rat colony and has allowed me to fight through an onboard Niv Mizzet.

The deck really shines with The Immortal Sun and really wants cards like Bontu's Monument, and Secret Salvage. So if your using the wider paper pool for historic I'd recommend picking up those. Though it might be worth running a sac outlet to dodge things like ixalans binding's and random adventures.

The deck wants 4 mana on curve minimum, so I wouldn't cut any lands. Ideally you'd want as much black mana as possible so run lots of swamps, and only splash the mountains.

I haven't built a side board due to the 1 round format of arena but if you have any suggestions let me know, its part of the reason I put this up here after all.
