Went 2-2, lost to a black control deck (tons of kill cards and a few big creatures), also lost to a green/white/red deck because of a few bad plays and he had an excellent deck (much better player too). I dominated a good RWG Human Aggro Deck that had all his dual lands due to drawing 3-4 kill cards early and getting my Typhoid Rat out early. The Typhoid Rat is really good at holding off players while I build up Pack Rat! (highest I got to was three 6/6 Pack Rats for the night)
After talking with a few of my opponents I have decided to change the deck around a bit, just a little for now (trying to keep it cheap without dual lands for now); Therefore I'll be making the following changes:
-2 Ogre Slumlord
-1 Victim of Night
+3 Immortal Servitude
I'm still looking for help with the side deck, I'm thinking of adding Blood Scrivener at least to the side deck later as well. When I lost it was usually due to my board getting wiped and losing my big Pack Rats, I realized adding Immortal Servitude can bring me back in the game in a hurry.I also noticed Ogre Slumlord wasn't so hot because of his low health he was usually killed off by some sort of kill spell early. So reducing his draw (highest mana cost) and adding the Immortal Servitude should let me surprise my opponents, even better if slumlord comes back with the rest of the pack....
