RAVENOUS is a 60-card, mono-black, standard format, aggro-control deck designed and played by Johnnathan Durtche. The deck has a perfect mana curve, is extremely fast and has great synergy with Shrieking Affliction and Pack Rat. It focuses on rats and discard synergy.

CREATURES
Pack Rat - This rat is so good it makes copies of itself and its copies can make copies of themselves and all of them get bigger and bigger.
Drainpipe Vermin - Scroll of Griselbrand type discard and is a rat.
Ravenous Rats - Discard and a rat.
Typhoid Rats - Deathtouch rat, good with the Pike.
Shimian Specter - I will laugh at you if I can exile more than 12 of your cards with these guys...great with Rogue's Passage.

SPELLS
Bump in the Night - 3 dmg for B and late game flashback.
Duress + Mindrot - Classic discard.
Rakdos's Return - DD and discard is great setup for afflictions.
Shrieking Affliction - Usually wins games, doing at least 9 points of damage to most opponents.
Sign in Blood - Card advantage is always good in a discard deck.
