@tlk_lone_knight

I'll message you the deck list I am working on that I started from looking at yours and played with a bit. I don't have all the cards, so I haven't put it together to play test it. I don't know the synergies are exactly what I want but maybe it'll give you a thought or two. I have Painful Quandary in the list because, why not?

im only worried about it because its an even more attention than i will usually want just like Exquisite Blood

I think Baneful Omen , Incendiary Command , and maybe Elder Mastery could be replaced with other stuff.

Omen is real expensive and doesn't let you draw the card.

Incendiary Command is too reliant on current hand sizes.

Elder Mastery is brutal, but it's also very expensive. I think Sire Of Insanity could go here because the overall effect is similar.

i was looking at Baneful Omen cute card but just like u said really expensive, as for Incendiary Command with all the wheel effects and such they should be close to a full hand anyway if not bigger, but it has the ability to come out, as for Elder Mastery it is one of the cute cards that is just not gonna leave

Maybe Elixir of Immortality can be cut?

If you want a way to recycle your graveyard, Time Spiral would be a better fit.

January 13, 2014 5:58 p.m.

absolutely not, with mill as an alt win why would i wanna recur there graveyard for them?

I didn't realize you were going for mill as a win-con.

In that case, you might want to consider Rakdos Charm to exile a graveyard in response to an Eldrazi being milled.

Magus of the Jar as another Wheel effect, but not sure what you would exchange with it, and it seems like you might have a decent amount of those effects anyway.

I'm not really an expert on Commander, but I know when I put Thassa, God of the Sea in my deck it helped quite a bit as well.

@meecht the only issue with Rakdos Charm is that id have to get lucky and wheel into it most the time

January 14, 2014 2:12 p.m.

might actually put in Kozilek, Butcher of Truth for my own graveyard recur

January 14, 2014 2:16 p.m.

just stumbled across Vicious Shadows ]

January 14, 2014 2:20 p.m.

might even put in Keening Stone to speed up the mill

@ChiefBell any ideas?

Phyrexian Tyranny , Skyscribing (I've won so many times by playing Skyscribing with Nekusar and Phyrexian Tyranny down).

Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre over Kozilek, Butcher of Truth . But really Feldon's Cane or Elixir of Immortality if you want your graveyard back so much. Or Snapcaster Mage or Archaeomancer

You're starting to lean away from the central theme: win by making your opponents draw cards. Mill as an alternate win-con should only be achieved as a by-product of the main plan. However, you could use Psychic Spiral for graveyard recycling AND mill.

Instead of Rakdos Charm , how about Leyline of the Void ? You wouldn't have to worry about Eldrazi as much that way.

Vicious Shadows requires the creature to die before it triggers, so you would need it on the field before you cast Damnation . It's not worth it.

why Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre over Kozilek, Butcher of Truth ? i sturgle to put in anything that really damage me, and Phyrexian Tyranny deals alot of damage xD, i had Skyscribing in the deck and changed it out for Prosperity , i have an Elixir of Immortality in the deck already just figured i sould add a second effect for recur @ChiefBell

It does hurt you but you have to remember that every card the opponent draws does 3 damage, whereas you only take 2.

Ulamog is indestructible, if for some reason you play him.

January 14, 2014 3:15 p.m.

what would u take out @ChiefBell

January 14, 2014 3:17 p.m.

I'm not sure. Torpor Orb is like a safety card. Just designed to stop opponents from doing things. I don't think it works so well on its own because you don't have tons of effects that do this. It seems sort of like an odd card out.

January 14, 2014 3:44 p.m.

@tlk_lone_knight I understand. I am trying to build a competitive deck for local tournaments and meta. The guys that I would be playing against gang up on people at random. So my thought would be solely burn as many as I can as fast as I can.

If players casting from graveyards is a problem Tormod's Crypt , Leyline of the Void or any other random spell that removes your opponents graveyard from the game.

If you're looking for a graveyard shuffle that also helps your mill condition, maybe try Psychic Spiral .

January 14, 2014 5:34 p.m.

i need 2 cards to remove for Sire Of Insanity and Leyline of Anticipation
