Alright, I'll give a more serious description now that I have play tested the deck a bit. This is a Scars of Mirrodin take on RDW. Every card is meant to be fast... and thankfully with scars every card is less than 2 mana! Goblin Guide, goblin bushwacker, Searing Blaze, and Lightning Bolt are RDWs classics so I will not provide an explanation; however, I will analyze each of the new Scars cards.
Chimeric Mass
: I like this guide because he is board wipe resistant. He is also playable at any point in the game. He does not need to be massive to be useful! However, sometimes he may just serve the purpose of activating metal craft for Galvanic Blast or for letting
Glint Hawk Idol
attack.
Galvanic Blast: This card is pretty versatile. There are enough artifacts in the deck that it can frequently hit for max power. However, there are plenty of times where 2 damage is enough as well.
Glint Hawk Idol
: Essentially he is a 2/2 flier for 2 with board wipe evasion. He needs to be activated with another artifact, but there are enough cheap artifacts that this will happen frequently.
Kuldotha Rebirth: I think that this is best when used on Memnite or
Panic Spellbomb
. You can play it turn one on Memnite (although the advantage is questionable) but it also combos really well with goblin bushwacker.
Memnite: LIVE THE DREAM! TURN ONE GOBLIN GUIDE/MEMNITE! He is a pretty useful card otherwise. He adds to the metalcraft count, and activates our bro
Glint Hawk Idol
.
Panic Spellbomb
: Sometimes you will need this effect, such as against a lone Wall of Omens or baneslayer. It is nice that you can draw a card with it as well, whether after it has been used for the effect or it has been sac'd to the Rebirth.
Perilous Myr
: I feel like he is pretty solid for a two drop. Again, he is another target for the rebirth. He may often hit for one or two damage before dying and dealing two more damage as well.
