This is the next version of RDW that Ill be playing at FNM.

Changes:Incorporating: Searing Blood and Flame-Wreathed Phoenix

Reasons:

Searing Blood: whats to be said? It's an amazing card! Most likely the best tool RDW has gotten in this set.

Flame-Wreathed Phoenix: I have decided to replace my Fanatic of Mogis with this card as my 4 drop for one big reason Drown in Sorrow.

RDW used to have a favorable match up against Mono Black Devo, but with the release of this card it has been switched in the opposite direction.

Leaving us with RDW needing a new deck build, utilizing Satyr Firedancer as a heavy burn deck with less creatures, or leaving RDW and going Big Red with creatures over 2/2.

Im going with a middle route right now, with Flame-Wreathed Phoenix and I think it will be favorable.

You Dish out large early game dmg before Drown in Sorrow hits the field, then on turn four you roll out the Flame-Wreathed Phoenix for the heavy beat stick for the win.

Well took it to FNM and went undefeted until TOP 8,I took 4th overall and lost to Gruul with the new Xenagos

Game#1 vs Azor Control 2-0 Not too hard really, he just couldn't get the Supreme Verdicts fast enough

Game#2 vs Maze's End (Turbo Fog) 2-1 The guy had the new Planeswalker Kiora, the Crashing Wavefoil and it slowed me down quite a bit, That in combination with Jace, Architect of Thought got him the win on the second round. But in the end I got to go first 2 times which nailed me that win.

Game#3 vs Esper Control 2-0 Another really easy win for the fact that he just could not draw his Supreme Verdict

Game#4 vs RDW (Mirror Match) 2-0 I think we all know how this one goes, I got the better die roll on round one, so I won that round basically on that fact lol. However round 2 I side boarded Peak Eruption and destroyed 2 of his lands, that just put me a head and netted me the round.

TOP 8 Game#5 vs Devotion to Gruul (Devo Red/splash green) 2-1 This match was really not in my favor at all. Round one he hit me with Mizzium Mortars and wiped my board, finishing me off with Stormbreath Dragon. Round 2 I side boarded my own Mizzium Mortars and Peak Eruption, I barely pulled ahead in round 2 with a full hand of Ash Zealot swinging in for 6 dmg every round except the first. Round 3 I pulled some of my side board and killed a few of his Mountains which put him back so far he could not play Stormbreath Dragon or Anger of the Gods! Woo!

Game#6 vs Gruul Ramp (Devo Green) 0-2 Oh jeez this was just a mess, hand a good hand the first round but he won the roll, I couldnt do enough dmg with his Sylvan Caryatids out. Second round I had a horrible draw 2 times in a row, I had to keep a hand with 2 lands, Boros Reckoner, and Magma Jet I thought I could scry into something but the draw just wasnt there. just a disappointing round

All in all a good night :)
