I love Thunderous Wrath , I really do, thanks for the suggestion!! But if I have it opening hand then I don't think it works very well.

Well u can play it for 1 mana when you draw it. Miracles happen when you start off with it or when you just draw it :) Its awesome in your deck :)

I agree. If I do end up adding it, then I may replace Searing Blaze .

There was a point in time where I had all of those cards in here except Blood Crypt . The trouble that I found with them was that with them added, the deck struggled to be consistent. I would've thought having Arid Mesa and Marsh Flats would make the deck consistent but it didn't. For now I think that I will keep this mana base until something proves me wrong, but I may add them in the future. Thank you for the suggestions!! :)

The fetches are well worth it. They indeed assist in mana fixing, especially as you're splashing white and black. They offer much synergy with Searing Blaze to be able to trigger Landfall on the opponent's turn. Searing Blaze is a killer two-for-one removal card. Fetches also feed Grim Lavamancer alongside the burn in your yard.

By adding fetches and a playset of Blood Crypt , not only do you improve your mana base's consistent, but you'll probably be taking less overall damage vs Mana Confluence/City of Brass.

You have this tagged as a Red Deck Wins, when really it's a straight Burn list. The minute variance being RDW runs more creatures, typically 16-20 ish, whereas Burn runs 0-12. If you wanted to vastly improve consistency, be able to have a stronger Tron matchup by sideboarding Blood Moon , then you could go more of a mono red route. I personally like the white splash to be able to sideboard in Tear + Wear against opposing Leyline of Sanctity .

Your sideboard is a bit odd. The lone Leyline is pointless. You'd need 3-4 to be effective. Leyline of Punishment would be a better fit. Spellskite seems out of place. More Eidolon would do you well (he's awesome mainboard, IMO). Wrath of God should be Anger of the Gods , Slagstorm , etc. Shatterstorm is great for Affinity. Torpor Orb helps hose Twin and Pod.

I like the route you're headed. Here's my RDW list:

Alright so I remember meaning to do this but you reminded me. When I added Bump in the Night to the list, I meant to take out Shard Volley instead of Searing Blaze . And I agree that this is more of a burn deck, but I don't think I have a place for Grim Lavamancer . I honestly forgot about Wear / Tear being a card. :/ So I'm going to change my sideboard up a little because it, and I'll see what I can do about the others. Thank you aeonstoremyliver for the long comment and suggestions!!

Sure thing!

NM my comment about Spellskite. It's great vs Twin and Hexproof buffs. Also Infect.

About Thunderous Wrath : You draw your opening hand before any turn begins. Cards you draw for your opening hand can't be cast using miracle. (from the Wiki).
Otherwise nice deck :)

Yeah that's why I don't play miracles that often. But it would be a very effective top deck!!

So I feel like I should add Grim Lavamancer , thoughts?

August 25, 2014 6:28 p.m.

Lavamancer is awesome! Fetches make him much more useful, though.

Alright I know it's kind of late but I need everyone's help. I can't decide between keeping Hellspark Elemental or adding Monastery Swiftspear in it's place. So whenever anyone sees this, I need advice. Thanks guys.

December 18, 2014 11:21 p.m.

Mainboarding a playset of Eidolon of the Great Revel will win you games. Swiftspear is more of a tempo card, that is you have to play spells before you attack or deal damage to make her effective vs holding onto instants.

Alright so if I do that, what do I put in the sideboard in its place? Path to Exile?

Alright guys, I added cards to my maybeboard in hope of adding some of them to my sideboard. I do not have extensive experience in the format even though I know which cards combat which decks. If you will, I do need help on deciding which cards to run. Thanks guys.

Cut all the hellsparks for 4 eidolon then add two Dragon's Claw to sideboard for the eidolons that were there.

Oh yeah, I do have something to report about Eidolon of the Great Revel. I added a playset in place of Hellspark Elemental and then took it to FNM. I got destroyed because of it... my personal preference is to keep it in the side.

HSF117 That doesn't make sense? It is what made burn tier one with Treasure Cruise which you need to be playing while you can.

quesobueno123 says... #25

Which, since you already have fetches you just need one or two Steam Vents
