Well I would draw it at times when I did not want it, and if I had Hellspark Elemental at the time instead then I would have won more games. I like Treasure Cruise but I'm not sure that I want it.

Cut Lightning Helix Vexing Devil or Hellspark Elemental as they are the weakest cards in the deck.

Yeah. If I want to add it then I can easily do it.

If you decide to play it. But many times it is Ancestral Recall

I like Lightning Helix because it is a potential 6 point life difference. Vexing Devil is good because A. my opponent takes 4 life or B. it makes them use a burn or counter spell.

Don't listen to quesobueno123. Treasure Cruise isn't worth it imo, however, he is very right about Eidolon of the Great Revel. It is good simply because it generates you card advantage. Say you play eidolon turn two against UWR control, which is one of your tough match ups, if i'm not mistaken. Best case scenario for them (barring a Mana Leak) is using Lightning Bolt. Immediately. This is because of how much of a threat eidolon is to any top tier deck. It attacks, and whenever a deck in modern (that isn't tron) tries to interact, it punishes them. The two match ups i can think of in which Eidolon of the Great Revel isn't incredible are Tron and Pod. It hurts you, but if you're playing burn, you shouldn't care about life total.
My two cents.

Also, use Anger of the Gods in place of Slagstorm in the sideboard.

It's between Anger of the Gods and Volcanic Fallout with me.

Anger screws pod, which is one of your harder match ups. Goodbye, Kitchen Finks.

Or I can just have Torpor Orb so that it does not matter in the first place. But yeah I understand what you are saying. And my opinion on Treasure Cruise is that I would rather play Browbeat. Yes my opponent would choose the option that is the most beneficial to them but either way is a plus for me. But I do not want to play that card so I will not splash blue for Treasure Cruise.

Swiftspear is only good to a certain point. I'm not sure though, I'm still undecided about her.

Hi!This list is a VERY. VERY. good list.

However...I would personally drop the Vexing Devils and Hellspark Elementals for 4 Monastery Swiftspear and 4 Eidolon of the Great Revel.

Eidolon needs to be removed or else your opponents are getting shocked whenever they cast a spell pretty much.Swiftspear, in my opinion, is the best creature in this format. It's fast, it hits hard, and is a removal magnet against decks like delver. That's my only change tho. Solid list!

I agree. Add the Monastery Swiftspear and Eidolon of the Great Revel in place of the Hellspark Elemental and Vexing Devil. the swiftspear will be around longer and will end up pushing more damage through later on. Also, responding to what you said earlier about eidolon hurting you. Just be more weary of when you cast it. Eidolon will not always be best on turn 2. depending on the deck you may either play it turn 5 after you've run out of steam, or you will try not to play it at all. Or versus delver or pretty much any 1-3 cmc deck, you'll cast it turn 2 and play more of a controlling burn deck. Eidolon dictates the pace both players have to play at. Just keep this in mind as you use it.

also, Treasure Cruise is very bad in this deck. Yes, it helps immensely when it works, but as we saw when shahar shenhar used it in his burn deck, it was a dead draw quite a lot of the time.

For sideboard options, I'd run the Blood Moons and Stony Silences. Blood moon shuts down pretty much every deck in modern that doesn't have an immediate answer. And stony silence will help with matchups like tron or affinity, or anything that uses artifacts at all really.

And if you decide to run the blood moons. Please change your mana base to include 2-3 basic plains. This is so you don't lock yourself out of white mana.

Hope I was able to help!

There's a reason pretty much everybody plays their Eidolons and Swiftspears in the mainboard. Both of them are brutally good in burn, which is why they're being played as 4-ofs in so many Burn lists..

Not playing Treasure Cruise is essentially a mistake. The biggest problem with Burn is that it can run out of gas rather easily. It's practically an Ancestral Recall when you need it to.

Also, yeah, you need Treasure Cruise. You should be able to cast it with the first few turns, and because this deck has no card draw, you run out of steam very quick. The splash could be as simple as putting in some Steam Vents.

If you're not wanting to splash blue for Treasure Cruise, you could try either Reforge the Soul or Dangerous Wager. Wager is the least risky of the two since it stays at 2cmc casting cost even when drawn in your opening hand and doesn't give your opponents cards. Reforge the Soul is what I'm testing with in my burn deck It begins with a spark. It really is a high-risk-high-reward card though. It gives you and your opponents cards and is really bad to see in your opening hand. When you cast it however, you should win. Out of the seven cards you draw, there's bound to be at least 4 burn spells.

Treasure Cruise is undoubtedly better, but if you're looking for some steam before including Cruise or if you're wanting to stay Boros, either of those two would work. I myself am trying to get some Steam Vents to add the Cruise since it's just that powerful.

Alright I think I have a sideboard that I am content with. My only problem is that I want 2 Dragon's Claws but I do not know how to make that happen. Suggestions are needed and appreciated.

Cut Path to Exile for two more Dragon's Claw in the sideboard.

Alright. I have spent the last 6 hours reviewing the current meta. This is due to the fact that I did not know exactly how my sideboard should respond to the ever changing topic that is the modern meta. So I think, after reviewing most of the cards that I can use, I have finally found the 15 that I am comfortable with. Of course the meta will change and I will need to change with it, but I think I am good for now. As always, suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

The meta also changes with where you play. Some at one LGS would play predominantly one archetype. Another may be full of homebrews. The sideboard should be the most flexible part of your deck, so adjust it as needed when considering Pro-events meta and LGS meta.

Exactly. Which I think that is the part that is the most odd about Modern but also the part that is most obvious.
