Here is a deck that basically is an esper control in EDH but with a lot of annoying cards that steal the cards from your opponents. There is also what I call the "political bundle" for pure fun :D
Well Let's talk about it:
Combos:
Infinite Mill: This is the only infinite combo this deck can achieve, which is anyway pretty fun and easy to do. Just use Helm of Obedience + Rest in Peace
to instant mill out one of your opponents.
Stealing like a boss:
Well now here are the cards made to steal your opponents stuff which will make them cry while you will laugh louder and louder!
The first one obviously is your commander Sen Triplets. If you manage to make them live one turn (Lightning Greaves quite help), the fun can begin and you can start to play your opponents cards directly from their hands. To help with mana fixing if your opponents play different colors, use Chromatic Lantern or even better Celestial Dawn (which by the way synergies really well with Emeria, The Sky Ruin)
Daxos of Meletis, Nightveil Specter: These two cards are here for the same purpose, play cards off the top of your opponents libraries.
Blatant Thievery, Dragonlord Silumgar: These ones serve the same purpose but on different scales. You can just save yourself by controlling a threatening creature or planeswalker but you can also suddenly close out the game by taking control of your opponent's 4 commanders.
Memory Plunder, Psychic Intrusion, Praetor's Grasp: The first two are particulary good at closing out games or simply preventing your opponents to cast their most powerful spells. For example using Memory Plunder against dredge or similar decks on cards like Rise of the Dark Realms or Living Death can just make you win by itself.
Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver: He mills your opponents AND let you play their cards, so why not?
We can't talk about stealing things in MTG without talking of the most annoying Drop 5 in blue: Bribery. Prepare your best evil smile for the moment you play Avacyn, Angel of Hope, an eldrazi titan or another fatty legendary creature you do not own on turn 5 (or even before.
Mono-target removal:
We practically use every esper control classic mono-target removal + Detention Sphere, that also deal with armies of tokens and Ethersworn Adjudicator which also is a good 4/4 flyer
Wraths and Mass-Removal:
This deck is extremely Wraths-heavy with no less than 9 wraths. Special mention to Life's Finale (That allows you to get rid of 3 key creatures), Devastation Tide (Everyone loves top-decking this one), AEther Snap (which is not really a wrath but will cause the same emotional damage to opponents who rely on tokens or counters).
Ramp:
We use some really classical commander ramp, nothing spicy here.
Tutors
We use the three one-mana tutors to get key cards like our infinite mill combo or basically whatever we need in a particular moment of the game.
Drawing Cards
To draw cards we use the most effective blue/black/white cards but also the most annoying for your opponents (Rhystic Study). Like if this deck was not painful enough... We do not use that much draw because who needs to draw cards when you can cast your opponents's ones? Moreover we also use Consecrated Sphinx to draw cards whenever someone blinks an eye.
The cards everyone will hate and will stab you in the back at the end of the game because of them
Here we start with the spicy part of the deck that will make your opponents cry, shout, convulse, etc.
Gwafa Hazid, Profiteer and Aurification, better known as the "You can't attack me" cards/ "most hated cards ever printed".
Ghostly Prison and Propaganda: These two are pretty much the same but will punish your opponents, if they want to get rid of you by attacking you, with some sweet mana taxes.
His Sanctity the Grand Arbiter Augustin IV: he really upsets your opponents while profiting to you. What is better than an Azorius Judge to set who determines the law around the table?
Mother of Runes: What?! A 1/1 human cleric?! How can that be annoying? Well if you ever played against a white commander you know how this fair lady can nullify all your mono-target colored creature removal.
"The Political Bundle"
What about doing even more annoying things but this time by using your opponents like the sadistic sociopath you are? Let's bring the fun!
"Will of the Council" cards: Council's Judgment, Coercive Portal are basically here to use your opponents against each other by asking a single question: "How do you prefer to die?"
Here is the spiciest card of the deck: Choice of Damnations. This will basically cause heart-attacks to your opponents while you laugh like hell.
Mana-base
Mana-Base-wise, except Academy Ruins to recycle your combo and Bojuka Bog for some graveyard-hate, it's pretty basic (budget reasonable, because it is also possible to go full rare lands but prepare to double the cost of your deck)
How to close out the Game
Well the answer is by basically cloning, stealing and playing every single good card of your opponents! (Magister Sphinx also helps) insert evil laugh
Here we are! Give me feedback about this sweet deck and do not hesitate to make proposition for even more spicy cards! I wish you a pleasant torture, and may you rule them all! :D
