Sideboard

Welcome to Dimir creature control, where if you don't like their creature, just kill it already. Sideboard is still a huge work in progress, so any help would be HOT!

Just changed from Sultai to Dimir for consistancy. Unfortunately, green wasn't preforming to specs for us.

Deck works off of using liliana, death's majesty and The Scarab God to reanimate ETB creatures. Most of the creatures in this deck also benefit from the enhanced 4/4 stats from GPG and TSG.

Control is the hardest matchup for this deck by far, as such most of our sideboard is dedicated to it. The cartouches are really only there for aggro, as it seems to wreck the matchup every time the creature survives 1 turn.

On the opposite of that, midrange is by far this decks plaything. I haven't found a midrange deck yet this can't beat best out of 5.

Lost Legacy targeting

(If you see ub lands): The Scarab God, (vs Ramunap): Hazoret, the Fervent, (if Esper GPG): Refurbish, (vs. Approach) Approach of the Second Sun. If you get a second one, best shot is getting rid of Scarab god killers (Vraska's Contempt, Hour of Devastation, ect ect)

Champion of Wits Discarding

Champion of Wits is used for card draw, while discarding those Noxious Gearhulks, and Chupacabra. If you ever can discard either of those, do so. If you have a Liliana in hand, don't be afraid to discard a The Scarab God , as when you animate with her -3 ability, he becomes a zombie for his own effect. Creatures should almost ALWAYS be discarded over spells, as we do not run any Torrential Gearhulk's

Still in development, so if you have recommendations put them in a comment for updates.

Updates Add

Moved Gearhulks to sideboard - the scary aggro matchups are all about low toughness creatures, and hazoret. Gearhulk is amazing against midrange opponents due to the health gain from high toughness creatures, but he has to destroy the creature to do so

added Aether Hub for more energy and mana fixing

went up to 4 hostage taker. Great against almost any midrange and aggro matchup. Make sure to soak up their removal first (Against mono red this is only lightning strike)

Put Vraska's Contempt Sideboard - This is a MAJOR test. Hostage taker can take almost all of the targets for Vraska (only thing it doesnt hit is planeswalkers), and it opens more creature slots. I am not sure how i feel about this, so i figure I can give it a chance.
