The lands of Theros have become ripe for the bleeding and it is time that Erebos and his Dark Legion take what is rightfully theirs
Theros is finally out and it's time to make another deck! This time it is centered around the ability of stealing life from your opponent, getting past defenses and destroying your opponents creatures. Erebos, God of the Dead is here to have his Dark Legion do all this for him, while preventing the opponent from being able to recover.
Behold the power of the Dark Legion! Desecration Demon, Lotleth Troll and Lifebane Zombie are here to march through your enemies forces to deal direct damage to them. With flying and intimidate, your opponent will be left helpless and with Lifebane Zombie 's ability, your enemies plans will be laid out before you to know. Lotleth Troll will be able to swing no matter what, assuming you have the mana to regenerate him, which puts even more pressure on the board.
Backing up these three monsters, are Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Reaper of the Wilds and Scavenging Ooze. These two nasty creatures pack a punch in the right circumstances. Gray Merchant of Asphodel will be able to steal your opponents life and give it to you! But make sure you have enough devotion to make him useful. Reaper of the Wilds is able to keep your enemy forces at bay with her deathtouch and can keep herself alive with her hexproof ability. Scavenging Ooze can heal you and can grow to a most formidable size, by devouring your opponent's fallen monsters and his/her used spells.
Along with the front and back lines of the Dark Legion, you have Vraska the Unseen pulling her strings to make sure the opponent's army will be demolished. As the Lieutenant of the Dark Legion, she will be able to defend herself and destroy any creatures trying to kill her. She can also summon her personal assassins to end your opponent's life.
Although these creatures are superior to others with Vraska the Unseen to help, the require assistance to take care of your opponent's army, in order to destroy their general. Added to your arsenal, are many different spells such as Putrefy and Abrupt Decay to deal with your opponent's army. You also have many other removal spells at your disposal in the sideboard if you require them.
And finally, leading the entire army, is Erebos, God of the Dead. He will destroy the opposition with his dark powers to prevent them from recovering from an attack. He also provides you with card draw, which will give you an extra advantage to use on your opponent and with the amount of black permanents you have, he will be able to enter the battle field and demolish your opponent's army. Additionally, he has brought his Whip of Erebos with him to the battle, allowing his Dark Legion to enter the battlefield after death one last time to serve him and provide the Dark Legion with the power to restore your life.
