Deck Tech:

Note: the deck is currently in a more "casual" and wheel themed build

The Combos: There are 2 main combos in this deck. Ashnod's Altar + Skullclamp , and Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter (known as the dramatic scepter combo).

the first combo works by having both cards on the battle field with the commander The Locust God, this allows to to pay one mana to clamp a insect and draw 2 cards creating 2 insects, you then sac one insect to altar for two colorless mana allowing you to activate clamp another 2 times, repeat untill you draw enough counters and mana to play Lab Maniac and win the game.

Dramatic scepter works by playing the scepter wile dramatic reversal is in hand and with enough other mana rocks ((2 mana to be able to activate scepter each time and some rock that produces red and blue mana).

Now that you have infinite mana play your commander and then loot through your deck till you find Lab Amniac and draw to win, or if labmanic is not avalible you can discard Kozilek, Butcher of Truth and reshufle your deck as many times as you need to either kill with enoguh insects or if you can't attack play Niv-Mizzet, Parun and draw throguh your deck with Kozilek to just ping your opponents to death.

Tutors to support the combos/and game plan: Artifact: Trinket Mage, Whir of Invention, Tezzeret the Seeker

Instant: Mystical Tutor, Merchant Scroll

Either/Any: Long-Term Plans, transmute Muddle the Mixture, Gamble (with enough cards in hand)

Stax Plan; the deck contains a few cards only there with the plan of keeping the opponent from forwarding their own game plan.

These include: Magus of the Moon, Blood Moon, Back to Basics, and Narset, Parter of Veils (especially with any wheel effects suck as Windfall or Wheel of Fortune)

Protecting yourself; as important as winning is not losing, so make sure you know you removal/counter/board wipe package.

Counters: Force of Will, Counter spell, Mana Drain, Mental Misstep, Flusterstorm (storm includes your opponents spells), Swan Song, Cryptic Command, Muddle the Mixture

Removal: Lightning Bolt, Chain of Vapor, Pyro Blast, Reality Shift, Vandal Blast Board wipes: Anger of the Gods, Cyclonic Rift

The rest of the cards in the deck focus on drawing cards and getting the rest together. basically just draw to win. (but leave mana open for answers if necessary)
