i like the idea of Flamewake Phoenix considering Vengevine gives ferocious, and Lotleth Troll likely can as well, leading to some explosive plays. also, bonus points for running Ground Seal as protection against grave hate, i don't think that's what it was meant for XD. with the Fauna Shaman, Undertaker, and now red splashing, i figured i might mention how if you do go full jund since you are leaning that way it seems Demigod of Revenge is probably a lot better than during the original suggestion. also, why the Undertaker over something like Macabre Waltz? To have another creature for vengevine and stable recursion for grindy matches? as for the modern meta, i have no idea what you see a lot of, but Necroplasm could be interesting if tokens or small creatures are ever a problem, and some interesting synergy with scavenge to make it just keep growing?. also, what is Haakon, Stromgald Scourge meant to sideboard against? just curious.

What about Vexing Devil?

A 1 mana drop that could make Vengevine easier to come back from the grave, quite aggressive and also a great Scavenge target for only R

Vexing devil is on my list to get cards, but only if I am able to fit another varolz as well. That is four cards total to be gone. I am at a loss for what to remove for it.

Add Golgari Grave-Troll because of the dredge 6. I am also playing Dredgevine ind i have made the experience that Grisly Salvage is far too slow.

@Gronsha

GGT is currently 5 bucks. Once he falls to a dollar rare, I will add him, otherwise the difference between 5 and 6 is marginal IMO.

I would gladly remove Grisly, but there is no replacement for the card that does its job as good. I recently tested with moving all the decays MB and having 2 mana open and having access to both cards can really mess with an opponent.

Then maybe add one or two Rending Volley just to have more options in the case of playing vs Twin.

@ Gronsha

Decays, choke and cut, in addition to thoughtseize (10 cards total) are pretty much enough hate vs a deck that will have trouble profitably answering this deck's threats. If that deck turns out to be too problematic moving the decays mainboard will solve a lot of issues.

Volley is good for decks that do not have access to Decay, the far more versatile answer.
