I played RB Vampires in standard during Innistrad block, and when Ravnica rotated in, and a lot of my utility rotated out, I switched it to modern, swapping cards from standard for their better equivalents in modern.

Plays a lot like Red Deck Wins, except that you trade some of RDW's speed for a better mid and late game against midrange, control, and Reanimator by swapping cards like Incinerate for cards like Terminate. Of course, Lightning Bolt is still an MVP in the deck. Bloodghast takes the place of Goblin Guide because he has better end game use, and can be recovered from a board wipe.

Magma Spray is more or less a strict upgrade from Shock because it deals with undying, Gravecrawler, Voice of Resurgence and a host of other stuff that i don't want to die, but I need to make go away. Rakdos Charms have a dual purpose of clearing a graveyard in response to Unburial Rites and with some serious poker playing, you can get a Splinter Twin deck to combo out against itself. Geth's Verdict beats Bant Hexproof, and by phyrexian casting Surgical Extraction you remove a lot of their threats. Extraction is also useful against a lot of other stuff, like making Mana Leak not a thing anymore.

Cards that have been removed because I just don't like, and they seem to be dead draws way too often (this will be expanded): Blightning, Vampire Nocturnus, Stromkirk Noble , Guul Draz Vampire , Molten Slagheap
