Hi all,

This is my "third" deck, and I have a number of concerns with it.

I'm not used to control decks, so I decided to build this to learn the dark art of control :)

A couple of notable combos I am trying to attempt here, is with Keymaster Rogue and Voidwielder 's ability to return cards to their owner's hands, useful for either flashing your own creatures to stop opponent enchantments affecting your creatures, or to control your opponent's creatures. Also, Archaeomancer can retrieve instants or sorceries that have been spent. Hypersonic Dragon allows Sorceries to be cast as Instants

One combo I've recently learnt about is to use Act of Treason or Traitorous Instinct against opponent creatures, and then sacrifice them when done into a Bubbling Cauldron. So that will probably go into the deck soonish.

In adding those red spells it opens the way for Pyromancer's Gauntlet to enter the fray.

So that is one potential plan.

Would love to hear any and all improvements you can suggest - I'm still learning on this one, I wonder if I have the combination of spells right?

...have now re-focused deck on the Bubbling Cauldron - Act of Treason/Traitorous Instinct combination. I have beefed up the early counter spells as much as I can with the cards I have - if anyone knows cheaper CMC ones I would appreciate it - so hopefully this works out well.

I am still considering how to cheapen-up the counterspells so I can respond to early threats - weenie creatures, other control players, etc. Possibility Storm may well be a response to the control players, but that is not an early responder in any case.

Advice and thoughts are appreciated.
