4 Etched Champions, because my meta is full of Jund, Junk, WUr control and Grixis control. My meta is generally removal heavy.
GANGSTERBLAST>THOUGHTCAST
Thoughtcast is good against fair decks, Jund; Junk, Grixis Control; decks that play discard and wanna go 1 for 1. That being said, I play more Etched Champions, so I feel fiiine enough to run Gangster Blast. G. Blast is good against all creatures toughness <5 and ALL PLAYERS WITH A LIFE TOTAL. Blast also gives us interaction in an otherwise linear aggro uninteractive deck (at least in game 1).
Afterthoughts, Not Thoughtcast
Some peole go down to 3 Memnite, it is the worst top deck and terrible against really any other creature. I say go down to 2 and have the third be Welding Jar.
I don't think Blood Moon is worth it. There is an inevitability clause that comes with ramp decks, they can still just assemble 6 lands, cast wurmcoil or whatever bullshit they got up there. Sure Blood Moon slows em down, but if we don't have a clock then its game over for us. I prefer 1 Chalice of the Void@2CMC over Blood Moon; It isn't necessary but it can slow down Tron like Blood Moon does, but Chalice trumps infect, burn, delver, and maybe something else I am forgetting.
SIDEBOARD:
Thoughtseize/Duress and Stubborn Denial to stop your opponents from hating on your artifacts.
Duress > Thoughsieze against burn, and in some match ups, is just as good and doesn't lose you 2 life.
Krosan Grip: Split Second is a secret tech against Tron, and now the new Eldrazi decks that run Ratchet Bomb. Tron tries to pass, in order to Oblivion Stone on your end step or when you attack, and they get GRIPPED when they pass priority!
KG lets you destroy all their mana rocks and expedition maps without them being able to activate them.
KG stops Ravager's ability dead in mirror and get rids of Ghirapur Aether Grids.
