/ STILL IN DEVELOPMENT /I have yet to take this to FNM. However, I am building an agressive-midrange deck for cheap. The powerhouse of this deck is Fabled Hero. With the right hand and draws, it's an easy four turn win where you swing for 20 in one turn.
For this four turn win, you need a hand with four lands, preferably two plains and two mountains (or a way to tap for 2W and 2R), Fabled Hero, madcap skills and titan strength. For this strategy to work the best, you'll need to top deck a brave the elements.
It's best to go second if possible, so you get the first draw.
Turn 1: Play a land, doesn't matter. If you draw a 1-Drop creature, play it.
Turn 2: Play a land opposite to the one you played (dorsn't really matter). If you draw a 1-drop, play it. Try to convicne your opponent to use their removal spells.
Turn 3: Play a plains, and play fabled hero. This turn is the worst, as he could be killed off removal, if you're playing a removal heavy deck wait a turn for another mana, so you can sue brave the elements to protect him..
Turn 4: Play your fourth land. Tap RW for madcap skills and enchant Fabled Hero. Then Tap R for Titan Strength, this gives him +8/+3 in all from his counters and the effects. Tap W for brave the elements or gods willing (if playing a multicolor heavy deck). Swing with 10 Double strike to win the game.
There are other wins that can be done, I just have yet to analyze it fully. I know it's weird with all the 2 drops in this deck. But it's all for the benefit of Fabled Hero. Edition is here as a backup, and if you end up going late game he provides a great bestow effect, along with ethereal armor.
