Red Team's Tool Box

Legacy*

Legacy Burn.

My goal in making this deck is to take the lessons I've learned in being trained for Information Security, business management, and I.T. and apply them to Magic. We're working with a few core principles:

-Follow a mission statement. The mission is to win the game. Every decision made in gameplay or development should serve this goal.

-Cut extraneous factors. If a card or strategy doesn't carry the mission statement, it creates inefficiency and drains resources. If it isn't the most efficient option, it shouldn't be taken.

-Attack the point of least resistance. Metagames should be considered in order to pack the sharpest, most ruinous tools in the shed. Go for the throat and don't waste time.

-Create asymmetrical warfare. Opponents should be put at a disadvantage, while we have the higher ground. To do this, we must find tricks to amplify our power while exploiting the enemy strategy with ease. Effective responses should be packed for most situations.

While Burn doesn't manage risks very well, it fits the above requirements quite nicely. I look forward to piloting this deck to acquaint myself with Legacy.
