Major Additions —Jan. 1, 2014
Yes, this is how I'm spending New Years Day. Don't judge me! Anyways, through excellent pulls from packs and some trading, I managed to get my hands on some great new additions to the deck. The most powerful card that I acquired is the three copies of Boros Reckoner. This is a staple in any deck with red and white, which makes these a must play. Another Chandra, Pyromaster is also quite beneficial since the one-of was too inconsistent for it to ever really make a huge impact. Although I couldn't get my hands on a Precinct Captain, that is still a viable option for this deck. The removal of Imposing Sovereign to the sideboard has opened up slots for more one drops. This deck operates very well when leading with a one drop, followed by two more one drops the next turn. I have yet to test this new list at all, so I have no idea how it will play out. Anyways, I always appreciate more feedback and suggestions, especially any speculation on what Born of the Gods might bring to this deck.

Thanks for your input Eleet, you made a good point about the Imposing Sovereign and adding Precinct Captain would be pretty sweet to get all those 1/1 Soldiers to flood the board even more. I had experimented with Blind Obedience (pulled two in my Gatecrash pre-release packs), but I thought the creature version would let me do more damage easier. Again, thanks for your comment, and I think I might try to pick up some Precinct Captains to test them out.

I use to think that too that the 2 power would do something but with so many creature removals nowadays and you mainly want her for her ability anyways. I use to run 3 of her then took her out as I would rather drop precinct captain, he's such a wall against rdw with their sub 2 toughness and first strike. He's a definite 4 of in any white weenie deck imo.
I also notice you have a mana clog at 3 cmc with medic, priest, and paladin. You could possibly replace priest for Chained to the Rocks if you're using her for exiling mainly as enchantments are a little harder to remove and helps you clog. Good luck though, you're definitely going in the right direction!

There's always the heroic option. Stuff like Fabled Hero , Phalanx Leader and Favored Hoplite with some spells like Ethereal Armor , Divine Favor , Show of Valor or Chosen by Heliod . +1.

I like the look of your deck alot.
I'm a little skeptical about the battle driver, only because its double red, and you're a mostly white deck, it doesn't work well with Brave the Elements , and by the time you play it you'll usually have dropped most of the stuff in your hand allready, because its one of only 3 4-5 drop creatures. On the other hand, if you say its good than who am I to say otherwise.
I'm gonna agree with eleet5 about Precinct Captain , I think that cards sweet, and about Chained to the Rocks , if not in the main then in the side board.
I of course think the lands can be a lil better. Another couple Sacred Foundry could make casting double red and double white in the same deck alot easier, and if you can fit in a Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx (like instead of another Mutavault ), I think you might find that fun.
Also, dunno if this is a budget issue for you, but where's Boros Reckoner ? That card is just awesome against anything midrangey.
My last thing would be that I think you should cut one Dryad Militant for one more Soldier of the Pantheon the pantheon has the same power, the same toughness, and MUCH more relevant text.
+1 from me!

To go along with the budget thing...you might work in a couple Boros Guildgate , if you can get away with them coming in tapped. I also agree with the Chained to the Rocks and Precinct Captain , they are about $1.50 and $2 each, respectively.

From what i can tell, your only wincon is flooding with creatures and brave the elements for the kill. Boros has many ways to build it so you should research a little on what theme you want like Battalion, Heroics, etc..
I might suggest working on getting a playset of 4 for most your creatures as having multiple small drops aren't a bad thing on a draw of hands. Cards I'd definitely recommend are Precinct Captain as he's a real threat that can get out of hand quickly if not dealt with. Wojek Halberdiers is a cheap alternative and a tad better than skyjek just due to being 1 toughness high which can make a difference sometimes.
I woukdnt run more than 2-3 of the imposing sovereign as any more would just be a waste as having more than 1 on the field is pointless and 2/1 for 2 mana isn't efficient. You could replace her with Blind Obedience as enchantments are a little harder to remove AND it also affects artifacts (teehee Ratchet Bomb slowed for a turn). My rule of thumb is if you run 1 might as well run 2 because chances of drawing it just doubled and if they kill it, drop another one.
This is my deck of boros centered around Fabled Hero one shotting with protection or soldiers and captains dominating the early phase and reckoners holding the fort. Hope it gives you an idea on what to run. Once you decide on a theme you like I can help you better from there but for now I'm just throwing things at you. I love boros because there's so many ways to build them.
Regards, Eleet
