Okay... I'm new at this, but gained inspiration from looking at a few decks out there. My goal is to have difficult-to-block creatures swinging as fast as possible, with the simplest possible mechanics and reduced mana screwing.
So, the idea works like this:
Chief Engineer - convoke to all artifacts.
Generator Servant - extra mana in a pinch and haste to get the big hitters out and swinging as early as possible.
Ensoul Artifact - most useful with Ornithopter for a cheap 5/5 flyer or Darksteel Citadel for a 5/5 with indestructible.
Ghostfire Blade - combo with Chief Engineer's convoke for free buffs.
Lightning Strike - cheap removal or endgame damage.
Bident of Thassa - Two main uses: 1. Card draw via combat damage. 2. Forcing opponents to swing, combining with Polymorphist's Jest and
Circle of Flame
for a board wipe.
Shrapnel Blast - Plenty of Artifacts to sac for endgame damage. Best combined with the Scuttling Doom Engine - that's direct damage of 11 for 2 mana. Possible 17 damage if the Doom Engine swings first and damage goes through.

Polymorphist's Jest
- When Opponent has lots of swingy creatures, Tap Bident of Thassa while
Circle of Flame
is on batlefield, which deals 1 damage to all creatures attacking, then cast Polymorphist's Jest, turning them all into 1/1 frogs. They all get roasted by
Circle of Flame
. Board Wipe.
Scuttling Doom Engine
+
Shrapnel Blast
- 11 direct damage, possible total 17 damage if Engine swings first and damage goes through.
