Consume Spirit in combination with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx can be a strong removal against big creatures/planeswalkers and gets you a lot of life back

Coming to say that the size of your name on the main page is obnoxious. Advertise yourself much?

@CrazyCrackCarl You're literally the only person that has had something negative to say about it.

Unless you have something pertaining to the deck I'd suggest you just stop posting on my page(s) and deal with it.

+1, I like it!

I would suggest Dark Confidant instead of Phyrexian Arena , if you can get your hands on them. I might suggest Slaughter Pact or Dismember to compliment or replace your Victim of Night. Up your Bloodghast count to 4 as well. He's pretty awesome.
As far as taking stuff out, I'd start with your 1x Damnation . You have a large creature count, so this loses a lot of value. Massacre Wurm probably would be next as 6 cmc seems too high for your list.

@The_Squirrel You have some good points

Bob is way too hard on the wallet for me :P

and Slaughter Pact is something i've been debating as well.

The Damnation I had in here just as a reset in case they start getting the board right full, I'd play early hand disruption and drop this after they've spent some gas getting their bigger hitters out.

But you do provide some food for thought.

or else what? You'll delete my comment? i'm entitled to my opinion and I thought I'd share it. Your decks aren't bad, I just find it obnoxious to have such large text, and for what? So people can easily distinguish YOUR deck from the 100's of others?

@CrazyCrackCarlOr else what? Get bent dude, You come on to my deck page JUST to bitch about my damn name being to fucking big, Get outta here!

Yes you are entitled to your opinion, but if it's negative. Keep it to yourself.

The site even says in it's commenting tutorial. If you are just gonna post something negative. Don't post at all.

Plus it's not even big, I'd imagine your using it on your little iphone, Get a real computer, It's not that big.

CrazyCrackCarl - to further illustrate Caligula's succinctly stated points, i would like to add that i have several thoughts regarding you. however, i am not stating them because 1) i respect this community, and i respect the people in it, and 2) my opinions so far are solely based on your apparent assholery on this thread.

that said, i am thinking it would be enjoyable to set my name font size to 900 and start featuring my deck... see how many nose bleeds it causes :D

@scrotality I was so close to just blowing up my name and posting it on his page and show him what real advertising is.

Just the mere fact that this guy thinks I'm just being obnoxious boggles my mind, if he'd look on a computer he'd see I have a handwriting font coupled with my color scheme and it'd be unreadable if it were smaller.

I can see it coming now:

"but you can just change the font and color"

No, you can deal with it and keep your posts to yourself.

Have you tried Erebos, God of the Dead ? Pretty handy against life gain like Soul Sisters, and gives you on-demand card advantage. I've been trying him out in my meta deck and so far it's pretty good. Especially with an obliterator on the table :)

I've definitely been considering him for the deck. He'd put me over the top once I hit his trigger and his card draw is unmatched

Sorry I mean no Nightveil Specter ? haha

Mmmm, Not powerful enough,It was either him or Geralf's Messenger and the messenger got the nod because he's more resilient with undying and has a nice ETB effect that they have to think about while removing him.

Caligula

I quit reading the comments at the Vampire Hexmage fight; you may want to post an update to clean the old ones out; So I'm sorry if someone already asked this.

How do you feel Liliana of the Veil fitting into this sort of shell? I had the thought to make this archetype today, and already having 4 lilis makes me really want to include her. I had the thought to bring it into a sort of Smallpox style build that focused more on the resilient creatures rather than winning via 8racks.

I really like Massacre Wurm, Phyrexian Obliterator, and Geralf's Messenger, but i'm not too much a fan of Gary. Would liliana just be better in that slot, in your opinion? Or is Gary a necessary alternate win con?

Also, how do you feel about the addition of Mutilate, Black Sun's Zenith, or Corrupt?

This is all, of course, in regards to the deck that I will be building, not trying to add cards to your list.

Thanks!

@ThatBlueMage Gary is a bomb in this deck especially. I made the deck to maximize his impact when he hits the board and it's not uncommon for him to finish them off (around 8-10 devotion) or get them sweating for the next attack.

I've thought about lili Alot and she would only add to how powerful Gary is. If you wanna run her I'd recommend cutting the Wurm' a couple of gate keepers and a messenger to fit her in. The reason I say her over the worms is the hand disruption is enough to keep aggro under control, which is what the Wurm was for.

If you do run lili, Lemmie know how she pans out. I'm just waiting on a reprint to pick my copies up, she's pricey for hers

@ThatBlueMage as for Mutilate, Black Sun's Zenith or Corrupt

I was thinking of running BSZ just as a 1 of or 2 of to clear the board. But that would only be if I couldn't catch up in board presence. Geralf's Messenger would survive this though so that was my thought process there.

But really, when Damnation get's a reprint (It's going to happen within a year) I'll probably put 1 or 2 in here.

Servo_Token says... #24

Damnation seems like the best bet, but until It's confirmed as being reprinted, i'd be fine with that new 5 mana black wipe that can't hit dragons.

Also, here's what I haphazardly threw together in about 10 minutes based on your build: The Ol' Sac N Attack. You should let me know what you think!
