elf - n. a fantastical woodland humanoid with a tendency to spontaneously transform into an adult Wurmcoil Engine . Because of this fact, widely believed to be the larval state in the life cycle of said degenerate mechanical wurms.
My current brew for testing the waters of the early Avacyn Restored environment. This is mostly a slight, bluish tweek to my old, battle-hardened Broken Branches elf deck, trading out Glissa, the Traitor and Go for the Throat for the following card interations:
Infinite Reflection + Wurmcoil Engine + elves = wut.
Infinite Reflection + Elvish Archdruid + elves = what?
Infinite Reflection + opponent's best creature + elves = WHAT!
Anyway, what do you think? Does it look fun? Don't forests and islands look GREAT together? Playing anything odd yourself while AVR is percolating throughout our collective unconscious? Questions, comments, deep concerns all appreciated!
