I don't really think Triskelion is necessary in this deck - sure it can act as removal but I have enough removal options that I shouldn't need it much. Lord of Extinction I don't own as of yet. If I trade for it, I'll definitely put it in.
As for the land, I think you're right and am upping the land count to 36.

If you own oracle of mul daya and necropotence, I would definitely put them in, atleast the oracle. I'd think about Living Death
and Twilight's Call
, if you incorporate them and add some more self mill those cards can really benefit you more than your opponents. The best self mill is Traumatize
and Mirror-Mad Phantasm
. If you want to see how I pull it off, and it does win games, check my profile.

I own Necropotence and I think I can trade for Oracle but my problem with Necropotence is I feel it'll make this deck unfun for casual EDH. I do want to play with this competitively and I'll probably add Necro when I do but it's too powerful and degenerate for fun EDH. I'll try to trade for Oracle and add it in when I do.
I have Living Death mainboarded already. I'm not sure about Twilight's Call - it's very expensive and I can just tutor for Living Death if I need it.
I like Mirror-Mad Phantasm and will try to get it but Traumatize isn't really necessary - I need a strong board presence at all times and I don't need to mill myself that much for most things. It's nice for Mortivore and Sewer Nemesis but otherwise I just need to specifically mill for certain cards - with things like Buried Alive and Entomb if I can get it - to reanimate and to use with The Mimeoplasm .

Don't know how i missed it on board already. Happy playing.

Keeping to your sideboard, I'd say Genesis Wave and Green Sun's Zenith are two of the strongest and should definitely go in the deck. As for what should come out, that's a bit harder. Do you find Omniscience to be vital to the deck or kind of a win-more card? Likewise, has the Notion Thief proved effective? Both have the potential to be lackluster, depending on your playgroup. I'm also wary of the Notion Thief because so many people in my group run Consecrated Sphinx , which would lead me to mill my entire library.
Deviating from your sideboard, I thought of a few cards that you may find useful:
Rhox
Tornado Elemental
Overwhelming Stampede
Leyline of Anticipation
(slightly better than Vedalken Orrery
, unless color is an issue)
Another thing I noticed was that you have 15 lands (17, if you count Terramorphic Expanse and Evolving Wilds ) that enter the battlefield tapped. I realize many have additional effects (cycling, tutoring, etc.), that still seems high. Have you had any problems with tempo as a result?
May 17, 2013 10:42 a.m.
This deck is actually fairly new as I was using a friend's deck for like six months and I decided to build my own and now I'm going to try this deck with my usual group next Monday so I guess I'll try it and then if the loss of tempo from the taplands is too large, I'll replace them with more expensive lands. I do have Watery Grave and Breeding Pool in here but the problem is acquiring more general untapped lands and most of my shocklands end up going into competitive decks. I guess it's just a process of trading for better lands. I need to try Notion Thief as most of my regular EDH partners run different colours. If it proves a liability, I'll remove it.
Better lands I probably want and will trade for:-Drowned Catacomb
-Maybe some fetchlands, although they're quite expensive and hard to get.
Omniscience is definitely not vital to the deck and can come out. Hopefully I can trade it for better lands. I was considering Craterhoof Behemoth (I find it better than Overwhelming Stampede but I don't really like one-shot combat tricks in EDH. I might add it in to try.
I added in Genesis Wave but not really sure what to remove for Green Sun's Zenith just yet. Maybe Notion Thief after Monday.
Colour is not really an issue so I'll try to acquire Leyline of Anticipation and put it in.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Sword of Body and Mind for the mill that can get you stuff to exile for The Mimeoplasm .
Also gets you some free tokens.
May 21, 2013 10:16 p.m.
True but in my playgroup, there are plenty of graveyard-based decks and milling them would only be helping them kill me.
May 21, 2013 10:22 p.m.
I have been trying to acquire Death's Shadow to put in here and I didn't know about Hydra Omnivore but it does seem pretty amazing. I'll try to acquire that too.
I don't really like using infect wins like Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon (which is a better version of Putrefax ) in casual but I'll sideboard Skithiryx to use in competitive.
Thanks for the suggestions!

Riftsweeper requires a lot of tutors to make it worth adding and I have just removed most of the tutors in this deck. Buried Alive and Tooth and Nail are still in but I don't really think that's enough to make Riftsweeper worth it.
My deck also casts The Mimeoplasm multiple times and generally I have enough mill and dredge to make it worth doing but The Mimeoplasm isn't my only win condition - huge creatures, ramp, card draw and reanimation do the job too.
I like Inkwell Leviathan but I think I can do better things for 9 mana like Artisan of Kozilek . Hydra Omnivore I will certainly try to acquire.
Stormtide Leviathan is very nice and will probably go into my sideboard to use in competitive as it locks things down too much for casual.
Sheoldred, Whispering One is in here already and does fantastically.
I was thinking of adding Golgari Grave-Troll for extra dredge but the fact that I have to keep casting him to get him into the graveyard and he costs 5 mana and has to die (since I don't have that many ways of discarding cards from my hand - mostly I discard by drawing more than 7) puts me off.

Those would both be great suggestions... if they both weren't already in here!
May 26, 2013 3:44 a.m.
I would play the best spot removal in black Ashes to Ashes , would also play Living Death and/or Twilight's Call , also why no Life's Finale that card is too good to be missed out.
Anyone looking for an "outside the box" mimeo deck check out my BUG control Mimeo deck BUG Mimeo Control WTF? Control, what a scrub
May 27, 2013 12:08 p.m.
Ashes to Ashes and Life's Finale are certainly things I would like to acquire. My deck is not graveyard-based enough for Living Death or Twilight's Call . It's certainly graveyard-based but I also like to win with card draw, large creatures and powerful spells that don't involve the graveyard and I can't always rely on getting enough in the graveyard for either of those to be worth it.
May 27, 2013 12:28 p.m.
what about Putrefax ? Play Buried Alive , find Wonder , Putrefax and a 5 power or greater creature. Cast The Mimeoplasm , copy Putrefax and go for 10 poison counters with flying.
May 30, 2013 8:45 a.m.
Two reasons:
1) I would rather use Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon if I were going to use an infect creature.
2) I don't really like using infect in casual EDH. It doesn't really give people a chance.
But otherwise it would be a decent idea so thanks.

Personally, I'm a fan of Lord of Extinction and Consuming Aberration
Here's my decklist:

I don't own Lord of Extinction as of yet. If I get it, I'll add it in.
Consuming Aberration mills other people which is very dangerous in my meta as reanimator decks run rampant.

I would add the Triskelion + Lord of Extinction combo that works with your general. Also, 3-4 more lands would help you a lot.
