Renewed life or inevitable death?

Commander / EDH Casual Reanimator

(notice: Magister of Worth should be part of the list)

I have only opened four Journey into Nyx packs (sadly) since its release and Athreos emerged out of the fourth one. I have seen a few debates over his ability's relevance and I decided to see for myself if he could be fair or better in general.

It is relatively simple. Play dudes that I can fight with and/or abuse and somewhat play around my opponents with reviving their creatures or my own and causing havoc here or there using spot removal and wraths. And the more I look at Athreos' ability, it fascinates me. Giving your opponent a choice over how your card will act can make it trip over itself. (Steam Augury is what comes to mind) However, they can be quite intimidating when you, the controller, have a vital say as well. (in this case, I think of Choice of Damnations) I want each of my opponents to be, in some degree, hesitant in at least half of the circumstances of when a noteworthy creature of mine dies and Athreos gives them that choice. Say my Divinity of Pride or Grave Titan dies. They could leave it in the graveyard, but they don't know if I can bring it back easier from there than casting it again from hand. (like a surprise Grim Return or Makeshift Mannequin before the turn ends) It can be an intriguing mind game to play, singling out one opponent while the others might try to off balance their judgment and causing some subtle chaos little by little. The three life loss is not a win condition of course. The deck will need to rely on other means like my creatures assaults or other means that could be included into the deck. EDIT: I did remove Debt to the Deathless and Exsanguinate from this deck. From my own judgment and a trusted friends, I feel the deck lacks the means of delivering an excessive amount of mana for them to live to up one's expectations.

At any rate, I welcome any questions, comments, complaints, or suggestions that are preferably constructive. Thank-you for reading and viewing my deck!

(note: this deck and my others are contingent over time, alterations may have been made upon returning to see this list)
