I know it may be over kill but Vizkopa Guildmage has an ability that is the same as Sanguine Bond and she comes with a body. It might be worth putting her in there to either use that ability or to just be a butt to block with.

A fair point, but I think excess mana should be being used with extort and Debt to deathless pumps. I've never been a fan of the guildmages, while they come with a body, they effectivle are 5 mana for the same effect, for one turn. And it doesn't have BB devotion for Erebos and Gary.

I used to run a deck similar to this. Definitely keep the Sin Collector s instead of High Priest of Penance . The collectors are better against the majority of decks, and the priest is easy to play around once he's out there.+1

Athreos, God of Passage is an obvious addition once it is released, as well as Underworld Coinsmith

I'd swamp 1 Erebos, God of the Dead for 1 more Obzedat, Ghost Council for a greater chance to play it. Seems like it does a lot more for you than Erebos.

Fiendslayer Paladin instead of Orzhov Charm in sideboard for black/red decks.

Not sure Silence fits the deck. I'd rather go for more removal, since all you're doing is prolonging the game while you should be removing threats. It also allows them to cast instants in response anyway.

Congregate + Sanguine Bond is always fun in those token-spawning decks with Elspeth, Sun's Champion or Brimaz, King of Oreskos or in multiplayer. But that's more for casual play.

Silence is mostly for extort procs and for 1st turn stall, it can really screw over someone and put them a turn behind. I'm not sure about Athreos, as it doesn't synergise that well with the rest of my deck, but his devotion would be easy to achieve. I would run another Obzedat if I had one, definatly. Underworld Coinsmith is definaty going in when it comes out.

if you were still looking at High Priest of Penance you could substitute Pharika's Cure for Devour Flesh and use it on the priest. then you get to chose what gets removed and you gain the life as well.
