More Combo. More Power. Torrential Gearhulk fueling an Aetherflux Reservoir.

"The life total progression is as follows: 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 21, 28, 36, 45, etc. Generally, if you start the turn with Aetherflux Reservoir on the battlefield and cast N spells, then youll gain N(N+1)/2 life."

This deck is a little different from any of the other lists I've seen in that it doesn't focus on dropping and bouncing low cost artifacts. Instead it's aiming to combo out on the super awesome Torrential Gearhulk.

The game plan is pretty simple:

Turns 1-3:

Play Glint-Nest Crane or Reflector Mage blocking and bouncing to durdle and buy time.

Turn 4-5:

Ramp with Wild Wanderer and durdle with bounces. Use Grapple with the Past to look for gearhulks and fill the yard

Turn 6/7:

Drop the Gearhulk EOT, in the best case scenario, use him to hit a Grapple with the Past or Glimmer of Genius.

Turn 8+:

Burn out spells from hand and chain bounce the hulk.

The key is setting up the ability to cast 8 spells for 36 life. (while at 15+ Life)

If you have 2 Aetherflux Reservoir or 1 and 1 Panharmonicon, you need 6 spells. (while at 9+ Life)

3 Reservoirs is 5 Spells (while at 9+ Life)

It's also important to remember that every bounce spell in hand will trigger twice. (once on cast, and once again when it's in the yard.)

In a lot of cases, the safest bet seems to be to ramp to 10-11 mana and then combo out, since your opponent will have a harder time dealing with the reservoir if you have the mana to cast hulk in response.

Updates Add

More Wild Wanderers. Wild Wanderer is turning out to be one of the more powerful cards when combined with the bounce, one bounce and it and you set up an enormous amount of flexibility on turns.

Added another Cataclysmic Gearhulk as he's super important in the aggro matchup, and shuts down a surprising amount of decks.

Added another Grapple with the Past because it turned out to be everything I had hoped for in this deck and more. Helps you get land when you need it, helps you get dudes when you need them, and fills the yard with flickers. Perfect.

Added Panharmonicon last minute before an FNM, and it turned out to be way better than I expected. I thought it was just get blown up right away, but it seemed to survive due to the fear of the Reservoir coming down, allowing me to gain a ton of advantage off triggers.

May have to remove the "Budget" Tag since both Panharmonicon and Torrential Gearhulk shot up in price after Pro Tour.
