or cut Victim of Night, it all depends on your local meta and whether you want to kill a small aggro deck or a mid-range deck.
March 6, 2013 1:42 p.m.
depending on your meta, i would suggest that dissipate and essence scatter are bad main decks. Cavern of Souls Let me throw a whole bunch of removal suggestions at you
Ultimate Price Smite Dead Weight Human Frailty Oblivion Ring Detention Sphere Pacifism Tribute to Hunger
Personally I disagree with the hate on the Dimir Charm i think it works great, and should definitely replace the orzhov. i especially like Unsummon for this style also side deck Cloudshift to protect obzedat, dummy block, and rekick all your creatures... hope this helps :D

ps sorry for not reading earlier comments... i dislike a lot of what i am reading up there....

Who was hating on Dimir Charm? Also Orzhov Charm can deal with what Victim of Night cannot and it saves creatures and gets a dead delver back.
March 6, 2013 8:13 p.m.
sb against control Psychic Spiral and Laboratory Maniac also i meant to throw out Blind Obedience agains agro. i dont know about your meta, but mine has way to many haste and you can counter, or obedience and obedience gives you one life for free black..... adds up
March 6, 2013 8:16 p.m.
a lot of people dont like dimir for some dumb reason, i didnt think about delver, but would you really use orzhov to fetch him?

If the aggro decks are really putting you down, 4x Supreme Verdict, 3x Terminus, 2-3x Feeling of Dread, 4x Augur of Bolas.

whoa whoa. Azorius Charm kicks ass tho. putting it on top of their library is a shit ton beter then killing it. plus you have the option to trade it for another card if you dont want it. lifelink maybe

have you thought of Think Twice or Forbidden Alchemy for this deck
March 17, 2013 5:36 p.m.
Can I ask why you are only playing 1 Tamiyo, the Moon Sage? It is a great card for control, however if you want just one in your deck, there are better options for it. I would suggest running 2.
Also, I don't see a side-board here. I would put Pithing Needle in there. There is really no point to have it game 1 unless you know EXACTLY what you are playing against. More times than not, using it game 1, it will be a wasted card early game, and a dead card late game.
I would also recommend Blind Obedience and Detention Sphere side-board as well. Great aggro hate cards, especially with all those damn Boros decks out there now.

Pithing Needle Hhits threats in most decks, and this deck needs it so it doesn't get caught with its thumb firmly planted up its... when facing Esper Walkers or Gruul Aggro. Tamiyo, the Moon Sage is a great one of as I don't need her always but when she hits the board it provides a great problem for the opponent to waste an answer on. Plus it can feint Esper Walkers and affect their sideboard when the card is not quintessential.

How come no one has mentioned Cyclonic Rift ? It's a nice board wipe without breaking the bank to get a couple copies.

Because people love to put a Resto Angel or any other card with an etb ability back into their hand. Post Rotation, well, we'll see

How about tossing in a couple Nephalia Drownyard s as an alternate win condition?

I actually just took them out in favor of two Isolated Chapel 's. The reason being as they just seemed to do more harm then good. Sure I won a game with Drownyards but other then that they were really debilitating. Don't get me wrong, I want to run the card with every fiber of my being but I just cannot justify it. In another note, what do you think of Isperia, Supreme Judge in the deck.

She seems fine. She blocks and kills most things aggro has to offer, and if you have her on the board while a hoard is swinging at you, you probably draw enough cards to find answers to whatever the aggro player is throwing at you.

id question Lavinia of the Tenth she seems like a bad body that does what oyur deck does anyway, being control and such, plus a semidecent detain affecting some of their board once is not that good.

OutspokenFerret says... #24
She allows a whole extra turn agaist aggro and can close out a game with an alpha strike with no worry of crazy combat tricks. Plus she cant be burned out. I like her as a one of. But I do see your point.

The detain all PERMANENTS is a powerful shift as well. stopping most planeswalkers too ;) don't forget that.

I know I love the card but I don't know what to cut. Dimir Charm and Orzhov Charm are in my opinion the two most relevant Charms well over Boros Charm. Boros Charm is better in modern where there are land sweeps.
