I've been wanting to make a Resurgent Belief deck for a while now, well, now that I found myself with Dangerous Wager on a sorcery speed body, Hearth Elemental. I figured what's the harm of yolo-ing my way to victory?

The plan is simple, suspend Resurgent Belief on T2, or if the hand was too spicy to not try, bin the hand and pray to who/whatever you believe in with adventured Hearth Elemental. There is a fair amount of generic cyclers and cascade so you won't lose "tempo" cycling those instead.

Hard part is trying to fully decide on a piloting strategy and locking in on the chosen win con. I believe what I want to do if the main game plan fails is to pivot to a more enchantress deck, but I haven't decided on the main deck strategy yet, so please bear with me with the enchantment slurry.

Key points to refer to for deck strategy. Seal of Fire and Seal of Cleansing(after sideboard) severely hinder Ardent Plea in cascading into Resurgent Belief

Form of the Dragon + Sandwurm Convergence render your opponent unable to attack you

Faithful Mending alongside other cards like Consider or Otherworldly Gaze might be much more consistent in deck piloting, but they hurt Ardent Plea's ability to act as the "8-of" for Resurgent Belief. Pick your battle, dig for the copy, or wheel into it.

Lay Claim is a all star in this list, it cycles itself, it can grab threats from your opponent to use against them, or it can steal lands to cast the other high cmc spells we top deck while hindering the opponents ability to cast threats. Shark Typhoon is a close contender being able to create threats after it comes out.

Overwhelming Splendor or Cruel Reality make excellent ways to give an inevitability to the game.

Another approach is getting Hive Mind into play, then casting any of the "Pact" spells, opponent will get a copy of the spell, but won't have the right colored mana to pay for upkeep cost and lose that way

Either way, there is a lot that can be done here, but I will hopefully throw together a few versions of this together over the next while and come back with a finalized list with a stronger land base
