*Retired* Grixish Control

Standard UBR (Grixis)

Update for HOU, this is my take on UR Control; Grixish Control.

Lets get this out of the way now:
1) Yes, that really is only 24 lands. The deck digs a lot so hitting your land drops isn't difficult at all. Following an aggressive mulligan heuristic, your opening hand needs two-three lands and a couple of two mana counters. After that, the deck takes care of itself. Glimmer as often as you can, and don't be scared to cycle Hieroglyphic Illumination. Your opponent's end step is your home.
2) Yes, the black is off Aether Hub. UR has an incredible mana base and I'm keeping it (hence Grixish.) Adding tap lands for the black just clutters it up and slows you down. You accrue more energy than you'll ever need off Glimmer, so using Hub for black is never difficult. Remember, their end step is your home. Use up excess energy and fuel The Scarab God. It feels amazing to bring back a Gearhulk.

UR Control: I TOP 8'd my LGS Amonkhet Game Day with this build.

Lost to a no-creature Bant Approach of the Second Sun deck match one due to me being greedy. I won game one, no issues. Game two I spent four mana activating my Wandering Fumarole to protect my Jace, Unraveler of Secrets who was at 8 instead of letting him take 3 (I really wanted the emblem next turn.) Wasting the four mana in doing so, I didn't have enough to win the counter war over the second Approach. Game three, he ramped quick and I, again, couldn't win the counter war. Since it was a creature-less build, I found a lot of dead cards in my deck even after siding. Fun fact: the first Approach doesn't have to resolve to qualify the game ending second Approach. The second, however, must resolve for the game to end.
I then had an extremely rough match 2 against a Grixis Control deck that was running four Fevered Visions. My hand was constantly clogged with creature/artifact removal spells. Once again, even after siding, I couldn't get enough out the deck. Nine cards in/out, I still didn't have enough in my SB to get all the creature/artifact removal out of my MB. It was during this game I realized I needed a lot more non-creature, non-artifact hate.

x1 Hour of Devastation > x1 Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh
I loved how HoD preformed, but I hated seeing it so often. This deck digs so much, I found them too often to keep them both MB. One got moved to the SB, and, now that USPS arrived (two days late), I get to test out my favorite MtG character.

SB x1 Chandra, Flamecaller > x1 Hour of Devastation
>I like Chandra, I really do, but I removed her for two reasons. First of all, my turn 6 play is, ideally, a Gearhulk. I do not want to tap out T5 for Jace/Scarab, then T6 for Chandra, and finally T7 for Nikky B. Secondly, I used her more as a board wipe. Drop her on T6, ult her for three, then continue on my merry way. Now, we have Hour of Devastation to do the wiping, and it hits a turn earlier.
SB x1 Abrade > x1 Negate
Less artifact and creatrue hate, more Negate.
SB x1 By Force > x1 Negate
I was too scared of artifacts. I would much rather just stop them from resolving, or stop whatever creature crews them. We need more flexibility, and Negate does just that.
SB x1 Thing in the Ice  Flip > x1 Supreme Will
I like switching Censor out with TiTi after G1, because he is the ideal T2 play. I'm only running 3 to switch with, and I want more counters in the SB.
