So it's important to note that this deck is built to compete against the current meta which lets be fair does not use Gutshot my mins worries turn 2 are Path to Exile and Lightning Bolt this is why my side board has ample anti-control cards in it as unless I'm fighting a deck that has access to heavy control I usually can out pace them before light removal comes into play. That being said every competitive deck (that doesn't get banned to pieces in the first few months) has clear weaknesses which are unavoidable. You can't make a deck like the current eldrazi aggro out of every deck as no deck should be that meta crushing. So I feel that this decks power level is appropriate given its weaknesses.

Well actually a lot more decks are adopting gut shots due to their success in eldrazi, and capability to be ran in any deck, so you're wrong on that I hope you are now aware. And the current meta is eldrazi by %50 in each event whom all run gut shot, and you not incorporating black or any additional color for the protection they provide I think is a bad idea. Last note you should put some Ingot Chewer in your board, chalice on 0 destroys you

Gut Shot certainly sees some play right now, but you are making it sound as if it's very prominent. I don't think that's accurate, you have to keep the card in mind, but you will certainly see a lot more Path to Exiles and Dismembers than Gut Shots. Concerning Chalice of the Void - Shattering Spree is a perfectly fine answer to that, as you can trick the chalice by using Replicate.

Thank you Emzed additionally I'm not structuring the deck to fight eldrazi as come SOI launch I doubt That I won't see its core banned :/ so what's the point of building a deck to fight something only moments away from dropping out of existence.

Good but inconsistent. Also, it cost you 480$ which can bought you a more consistent deck like boggle. Nevertheless, it's an interesting and fun deck to play, especially in 2 headed giant.

There is a similar Pauper deck to this that's <$20.

Maybe using some cards from it can drop your costs.

I could reduce the cost but given how glass-cannon this deck is replacing my utility combo pieces with non-utility based artifacts or permentant a effectively makes it harder to go off... Thus we have the difference in price that all competitive decks have to their budget counter parts in which 1 card that is slightly better than the other options will cost 20-100x more than its competition because it technically is the best choice but that's why Magic is a rather pay to win game.

Do you think Sleight of Hand might do more to smooth out consistency instead of the Mishra's Baubles?

Given the nature of the deck reducing the number of duplicate entities I run of my core components actively reduces my chances of getting to the combo. That being said this is a glass cannon build so stability is not the focus as this deck either goes big or goes home.

i got turn 2 infinite combo'd with a Heartless Summoning, an Altar of the Brood, and 2 Myr Retriever's last night, was not much fun. anyways something like that is always optional

Gotta love people who live in magical christmas land. A 4 card combo is not going to happen nearly enough to advertise 'turn 2 win lololol'

Ditch land base that will save cost.I dont use Manamorphose either an mine runs like a champ

@Lastdaysgunslinger I have the cards so their is no reason not to run the cards as they are more efficient than running all basics due to deck filtering via fetch lands.

@QuietMyth This is a glass cannon build that can achieve a turn 2 win more realistically than most to any current modern deck (it's still unlikely as WotC try very hard to prevent hyper-paced decks from existing) while this deck may not achieve a turn 2 win, the fact that it can allows this deck to achieve a much more realistic turn 3 win which is entirely the point. If you don't like glass cannon builds then rebuild the deck and prove that for this combo their is a better alternative method.

But I like the current name, and additional redundancies cause unneeded dead weight in the starting hand.
