Before taking a look at mine take a look at scrotality and his deck meta puncher that inspired this one he deserves the credit his deck gave me the inspiration to try something new out.
For those of you who remember the rock deck that crushed decks long ago here is it's newest descendant with an addition of blue. This deck is a control deck that is trying to get rid of the opponents options slowly but surely and for good reason- we want to win!
Here's how we get rid of options:
Inquisition of Kozilek Screw you tarmogoyf, wild nacatl, deceiver exarch, pestermite, blood moon and plenty of others a perfect first turn card, puts us ahead by card advantage and gives us information on our opponents options.
Surgical Extraction Once something is in the graveyard we can get rid of all the ones in the deck main targets, blood moon, splinter twin, birthing pod and sometimes even non basic lands for three color decks.
Mind Funeral Can get rid of an awesome amount of cards since most competitive decks don't have useless cards this one works well and most would of probably been a problem, but not anymore.
Abrupt Decay Deals with what gets through IoK and they can't do much if anything about it against affinity decks this destroys most of their cards, against twin gets rid of deceiver exarch, and pestermite, against pod this destroys several key components.
Mana Leak Royally screws up an aggressive player and does what we like annoys everyone, better warily game not as reliable late game.
Glimpse the Unthinkable Say my opponent doesn't mulligan and gets to draw that's 18 cards gone by turn two not bad. This gets rid of a sixth of the opponents deck the odds it gets rid of something important are huge.
Shadow of Doubt Turns fetches into pure card disadvantage and plenty of other cards become useless (mainly birthing pod they lose a creature and mana) it does all this and draws me a card getting me more options.
Snapcaster Mage additional of most spells above this one need I say more? Counter when I need it abrupt decay when I need it, there's a reason this card is so expensive.Would like some help with the sideboard and help getting this even more competitive, thanks!
