So I've been doing some experimenting with this deck recently. Anyhow Sram's Expertise may seem weird in the board, however it makes you chump blockers for those Red matchups. I have yet to find a good way to deal with energy pummeler decks though, they kill one turn faster than this. At the end of the day this is a slightly tweaked version of the one from MTG Goldfish. https://www.mtggoldfish.com/articles/budget-magic-55-18-tix-standard-paradox-engine At the end of the day you want to be able to stir up a bunch of mana, keep drawing cards and draw your whole deck, and hopefully drop your reservoir and blow your opponent out for 50 damage. There are quite a few upgrades to be made for when dominaria releases, however this is the best that can be done with ixalan's block being involved for the time being. Things such as baral, mox amber, and powerstone shard can all be sweet additions to the deck to swap out for. Since I already have this all on paper, I'll be posting fnm results whenever possible, as Fridays are not easy to get off for me.
