Mono Blue Devotion.... I HATE IT!!

CONTROL DECKS.... I HATE THEM TOO!!

If your thinking I am the MTG incarnation of Tard, the Grumpy Cat, your not too far fetched on your accusation. Anyways, as I was looking at the deck techs for Mono Blue Devotion, I see that 2 cards hold that deck in place, Master of Waves & Thassa, God of the Sea . Of course, Tidebinder Mage plus Nightveil Specter add a ton of devotion however, like most creatures without protection from Black, White, Red or Green, they take a Doom Blade to the dome!!

Now thats music to my ears!!

So, is it possible to be Devoted to Green??? ONLY if you splash some black! Back in Black, Green style!!

1st turn cast Dryad Militant . 2nd turn cast Burning-Tree Emissary , BTE TRIGGER, ADD R/G to your mana pool to cast another Burning-Tree Emissary . Thats 5 Green devotion on board. TURN 3, CAST Reverent Hunter , which is now a 6/6. Next turn, cast Nylea, God of the Hunt , which if your opponents have no removal or ways to keep their creatures alive, they will be on a fast clock.

This is a "God draw" & seldom will any kind of match playout like this but hey, its a start. And yet, everyone thought Mono Blue Devotion was just a collection of crappy junk leftover draft cards.
