Perhaps the final change for my saproling deck. I started from a pure aristocrats deck in Slimefoot. Then I moved to a higher value sacrifice theme under Korvold. Now, I'm excited to try out my first partner combo with Tana and Reyhan, taking a completely different route, and building a very unique deck with only 76 total decks on EDHREC at the time I'm writing this.

The idea is this. We have our sturdy saproling generation core as before (which will be outlined below), but we aren't relying on infinite sacrifices and aristocrats any more. Now, the purpose is to keep saprolings on the field, sacrifice them for value when necessary and use them more like a resource, and build them up to swing wide.

This deck should be capable of holding its own without the intervention of either of the two commanders, but they sure do help. Tana doesn't look like she would be a good source of saproling generation, but when she starts building up counters, she can crank them out like crazy. And Rehyan doesn't just help her get them, he also allows us to keep all of our counters across our board state. In order to really hurt us, opponents will have to utilize two spells to hurt this strategy, and both commanders are relatively low cost as well, meaning this should be a pretty consistent perk. If they kill Tana, we move the counters to Reyhan. If they kill Reyhan, we move the counters to Tana.

We can also include several intermediate steps if we want to a move the counters to other creatures in the deck which benefit greatly from having counters on them. Bloodspore Thrinax gives creatures a counter when they ETB for each counter he holds. Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin generates an extra goblin for each counter on him. Mycoloth does the same for saprolings. Ulasht, the Hate Seed can hold onto them and generate some saprolings or remove creatures (for a mana cost)(tbh, would be one of the first cards I remove).

Our greatest weakness is obviously going to be board wipes, so these are the best answers I have at the moment...

Now, how do we generate these counters?
