Fast deck with quick win conditions. By combining aggressive creatures with effective stat boosts and topping it off with doublestrike for the kill. The deck has multiple turn 3 wins as well as a turn 2 win and the ability to last to the late game.

are the most efficient stat boosts considering mana cost and card advantage. Important for reliability.
Mutagenic Growth
is especially useful because it's Mana cost can be circumvented. However with doublestrike it only deals an additional 4 damage to an opponent on the attack, while Giant Growth deals 6.
Temur Battle Rage
and
Berserk
are two ways of doubling the damage dealt in a turn.
Rancor
was great for this deck for 2 reasons. 1, it gives a solid stat boost with trample that can be paid for the turn before it's used. 2 it helps this deck last to the late game. It can be slapped onto any creature to make it into a solid threat.
