R/G Omnath, Locus of Rage. Tribal/Landfall/Combo Deck. I made two other types of Omnath, and I was running into inconsistencies. Originally I was using a more pure Landfall combo deck with supporting creatures. I found that the deck never ran well unless Omnath was on the field, and he usually got hate very quick to arriving on the field. So I made I Gruul Elemental Tribal deck around the usual landfall combo style that this deck has, and having deck tested it on Xmage a bit, it runs so much smoother. I still run into an occasional issue of some hate, but its rare, and plus if your printing this for your local meta that might not be as of an issue as the diverse meta of Xmage. How I usually play this deck is try to have a land heavier hand, with some support spells and creatures and you're golden. Ill explain more below.

Tribal So, as I stated above, I've made the deck far more tribal, from including some great tribal elementals, Brighthearth Banneret , Flamekin Harbinger , Incandescent Soulstoke , Smokebraider , and Undergrowth Champion . I also included some tribal support cards/staples, Adaptive Automaton , Metallic Mimic , Steely Resolve , and Urza's Incubator . These card usually work really well together to support not only the decks elementals but also Omnath's, Titania's, and the elementals from Tempt with Vengeance. Win Cons So there are two main ways to win with this deck, attacking for damage (A less common solution), or using sac outlets to sacrifice your elementals and do damage through Omnath. I will show these two win cons, and a couple other fun ones you can do as well below. Major First off, with either win con, you are going to want Omnath on the field, if you're swinging for damage then having him on the field will put pressure on your opponents when they are wanting to block the damage with their creatures because of his ability. The second one should be obvious as sacrificing your elementals won't do anything if Omnath isn't on the field to toss around his Bolts! This deck usually ramps fairly effectively, (Its no mono green Omnath but its still fast), I usually like to set up my board for Omnaths arrival. Some great set ups can come in a couple of different ways that synergize well together. Here are some examples: Crucible of Worlds + one or more of these on the field: Azusa, Lost but Seeking , Exploration , Oracle of Mul Daya + Mountain Valley , Myriad Landscape , or Strip Mine (Strip mine gets very very dumb in this combination). if you have this with either a Doubling Season or Parallel Lives on the field, most opponents will be quivering in there boots. Another great win con is basically the setup above, (Crucible of worlds not necessary), and Where Ancients Tread , or Warstorm Surge on the field, thats 5-10 damage each time an elemental ENTERS the field, I have destroyed a 4 person game of EDH in a turn with this set up. Now lets say your enchantments and artifacts are getting some hate, this can make it very difficult to find effective sac outlets for your elementals. That's why I included Thromok the Insatiable , this guy can be very fun, and an effective tool aswell, you can sac all your elementals and still have a heavy hitter on the field afterwards.
