Formerly known as RUGin Tron (the name was confusing.)
R/G Tron featuring Ugin. Well, I suppose it's basically mono-green tron now, save for pyroclasms in the sideboard. I did want to make the deck RUG colors but I wanted to test the list I have now, tweak it until I find the ideal R/G deck with Ugin, then maybe try out a list with RUG colors (Or just Blugin Tron) and see if it does better. If the name is misleading, I will try to rearrange it.
I would like this deck to be competitive, so I will mark it as so and hopefully with some feedback that can be realized.
Notes:
Explore allows for 8-drops on Turn 3.
I didn't put Oblivion Stone in the main because Ugin can do the same. He won't hit any of your permanents in the deck at all. The only problem is not being able to split the mana if you ever need to.
Haven of the Spirit Dragon returns Ugin for re-use and makes Bogardan Hellkite/Dragonlord Atarka a potential card in the deck (cavern of souls/eggs help for red also). I don't think he could replace Pyroclasm but I would love it if he could. Bogardan Hellkite/Dragonlord Atarka can come out on turn 3 if you can get the tron lands without much searching:
Turn 1 Urza land -> egg
Turn 2 Grove -> Explore - 2nd Urza land -> another egg
Turn 3 Complete Urza lands, Crack an egg and play the dragon. Can crack both eggs to try to draw into one as well
Ghost Quarter can protect against Sowing Salts, or destroy a nonbasic land into basic to then get wrecked by Sundering Titan.
Maybe run 1 mountain too?
Chancellor of the Tangle could get a Turn 2 Karn out with explore (but would need natural tron lands, so probably won't end up trying. He'd also be hard to cast on his own with the 3 green symbols)
Until I decide what I really want to replace Eye of Ugin with, I just have a 3rd forest as a placeholder. In addition, now that Eye of Ugin is missing, I am not sure what the fate of the Eldrazi is going to be. I'm considering a second copy of Emrakul now that he is no longer searchable, but at the same time the lesser cost Eldrazi titans might be better as singles.
Anyway, most everything is basically a general Tron shell, maybe missing a few pieces since it's my first Tron deck. Feel free to comment and criticize, but please keep criticism constructive.
