If only I could partner The Scorpion God and Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons.

That being said, of the main goals is to get out The Scorpion God as fast as I can, as he will be one of my best engines and rather hard to get rid of.

This is the first time I’ve tried to build around a theme rather than a commander, so I’m not completely sure how to build the deck.

Since proliferate is good here, using things like Orochi Hatchery are good.

I chose Shattergang Brothers for the commander because, if I’m gong wide with snakes, sacrificing a snake to him is good.

I’m trying to go for a snake subtheme as well, but I don’t know.

I’m trying to avoid using poison counters as a wincon because infect is stupid. In fact I plan on asking my opponents pre-game if we can treat my infect as wither, ignoring infect all together.

The lands on the list are temporary, I’ll sort that all out later.

The custom categories I have set up are wide (cards that contribute to the wide/snake subtheme), Use (Cards that use -1/-1 counters in some way), place (things that place -1/-1 counters), and then the rest are self explanatory.
