adding Wirewood Symbiote would help your rhys to double the token. and if u have Temur Sabertooth, u can bounce the symbiote, recast it, and activate it ability back, just with 3 mana. u can triplicate your mana with mana generator, or with Mirari's Wake, Zendikar Resurgent or Mana Reflection

I'm surprised that you don't have an Earthcraft in the deck seeing as you have Squirrel Nest. Having an infinite token gen engine is far from a bad thing

Huatli, Radiant Champion might be an excellent addition to this deck. I run a silver bordered EDH that's token themed and she makes an excellent heavy hitter. The emblem for card draw is fantastic and the way she ramps up her loyalty is unmatched, but it's the middle ability that ends games.

I know that Archangel of Thune and Cathars' Crusade would be great additions, but I hate having to keep track of +1/+1 counters on so many different creatures. Maybe if I create it digitally some day. ;)

Force of Vigor would definitely be a good addition, and I think I went with Relic Crush over Krosan Grip for the multi-target (or to save $3). This deck hasn't been actively updated in a couple years (I think I added Anointed Procession to the maybeboard).

Also, what about Odric, Master Tactician ? It'd let you choose which creatures block or don't block you, allowing you to kill what you need to kill, protect all of your creatures (if you want to that is), and deal as much damage as you'd like. I run it in my Ghave, Guru of Infinite Tokens deck and it's absolutely fantastic.

I completely understand the annoyance of +1/+1 counters on so many creatures. I don't mind it with Archangel of Thune because it's manageable, but Cathars' Crusade can get completely out of hand and it's a pain to keep track of them all
