This is kind of a lame concept I was toying around with while I was playing at the Card shop. Kind of a counter to counters if you will. It would only work once, but that is sometimes all you need. Play one of the many mana ramp cards Pili-Pala, Grand Architect, Devoted Druid, or Vizier of Remedies. When your opponent makes the obvious choice of countering them, play Summoning Trap , and move into casting your weenie army. Izzet Chronarch, Archaeomancer, and Possessed Skaab. End with Urabrask the Hidden. Or Just move into end game with Emrakul, the Aeons Torn if you see her pop. If they leave you alone and actually let you mana ramp? Well... Emrakul, the Aeons Torn won't mind.
