@GunbladeKnight I feel like it's very meh. I would much rather have Armadillo Cloak /Unflinching Courage .

No, not a fan of Hopeful Eidolon either.
As for Heliod, God of the Sun , he has worked wonders! Even better than Nylea, God of the Hunt actually. Heliod has put in overtime as a reliable win condition for me, in and of himself.
Getting both a creature and an enchant trigger (from, say, Mesa Enchantress ) is awesome. Half the time I'll tutor for them, either by searching for creatures or enchants (either works!). Casting Winds of Rath and not having to put enchants on the gods is sweet. Using Heliod to create tokens, and having those tokens get huge through Celestial Ancient and Gavony Township is pure goodness, not too mention the tokens count as enchants, and thus make cards like Ancestral Mask and Serra's Sanctum complete bulls, and Sterling Grove gives them shroud.
Each game the Gods have played different roles, yet because they're both creatures and enchants, the Gods have really impacted the battlefield and opponents don't know how to handle them in a deck like this.

@Slashdance I can definitely see them being pretty decent, but I'm just not really a big fan. Also, Winds of Rath would still destroy them, because though they ARE enchantments, they still don't have enchantments ON THEM.
I used to have Celestial Ancient in here (and actually, I have it in my physical build temporarily), but first and foremost, this is a Voltron build, and something giving utility is more useful. Generally, I will only have 3-4 creatures on the field at a time max unless I have Dreampod Druid or Sigil of the Empty Throne , and at that point there are other five-or-less-drops I would like to have more than the Ancient that would do a better job of pushing my win condition. In the right hands it's a good card, but in practice I never got a whole lot of use out of it, so I took it out.

I DID just notice that Heliod's tokens are enchantment creatures. Hmm....

Well, no, the Gods wouldn't have enchants on them, and would otherwise have to be destroyed by Winds of Rath
... except, they're "indestructable!"
Yeah, that's what I'm saying ... the tokens are enchants themselves, so they have synergy with several cards in the deck. Being able to force destruction via Aura Shards is sweet, not to mention mana from Serra's Sanctum , chump blocks, buffing up Sphere of Safety , etc.
For me, Heliod, God of the Sun has been awesome!

@Slashdance, yeah, I suppose those are good points. You may well have converted me! xD I'll definitely put them into serious consideration.

I think I've sounded like a giddy school girl while talking about Heliod. It's not that it's a bomb of a card, but I really have noticed that when he's in play he has a direct impact on the game and I'm never sorry to draw him. Great synergy. Let me know if you test him out and how he works for ya.

Have you experimented with Concerted Effort ? You've got Privileged Position already which is good but you also have some creatures that grant protection, Trample, and flying so why not spread the love? not to mention at a 4 cmc you have more options late game to benefit or even by the time Krund becomes a player.

@ ninnyz I've thought about Concerted Effort for this deck, but since it's so focused on being a voltron commander, there usually aren't all that many creatures on the field at once, so there are a lot better things to spend 4 mana on... like Linvala, Keeper of Silence >:3

+1 from me. This deck works like Uril, the Miststalker decks. Here is some great suggestions that i use with my uril: Tajuru Preserver, Grand Abolisher, Unflinching Courage, Chromatic Lantern(krond needs the devotion), Retether(you dont allways draw Replenish), Soul's Majesty(you can realy draw huge pile of cards with only 5 mana) and for last one Heliod's Pilgrim(costs 2 less mana than Totem-Guide Hartebeest).

Wouldnt the god not trigger the enchantresses.... Puting a token on the field is not the same as casting and enchantment >.<

Slashdance -- especially Heliod, since Krond has Vigilance anyway and I don't necessarily need tokens.
