There's only 2 sets in magic that have energy counters as cards. So the power of this deck and any Energy Counter base deck is gonna have a clear limit of power VS other decks. Especially playing a 4 player game of Commander. After weeks of play testing this is the best Energy Counters deck I have personally made in real life. Here's the goal, You ramp as much as possible while playing low cost energy counter base cards to build that up. Get Riku out ASAP, and double every card you can for double energy counters. This is big for this deck. and honestly its not hard to achieve. What's the hardest part of any Energy Counter base deck is keeping the Counters coming in a long game of commander. So I added Etali, Primal Storm & Ezuri to sorta fix this issue. The Power of Engery Counters once spent on taking a extra turn or extra combat phase is laughable cause you really need to keep it going but you can only make so many Energy Counters. So being able to swing with Etali and cast up to 4 cards without paying there mana really gives this deck the added push to finish a game. Ezuri adding experience counters when creatures power 2 or less hit the field and this deck has a ton that also give engery when entering giving you more bang for your buck. Overall a great engery counters deck for what we have.
