Hipparchos huh, weird. I have NO idea how that happened. Oh well, updates have been made and the count is back to 100!

Sometimes tappedout acts strange :)
I'm looking for some ideas for my future Riku deck, and i really like yours. What's your experience in multiplayer games? Also, can u write down some of the infinite combos pls?
May 3, 2016 7:08 a.m.
Hipparchos This deck holds its own in multiplayer because (usually) by the time people realize I'm a threat, it's too late to stop me. The combos are fast and there are enough counterspells to protect against disruption.
I also added the combos to the description.

Hipparchos Oh, howdy there. Yes, I've added Eldritch Evolution, Glen Elendra Archmage, Mana Crypt, and Birthing Pod since my last update. I'm not sure offhand what I took out for them, but I'll update when I get a chance.

Oh sorry for my bad manners, ofc hey! :)
I would appreciate it, if you update your decklist. I've made my own (casual) Riku deck, but i want to take it to a more competitive level in the next months. Do you play Riku regularly at EDH tournaments?
September 7, 2016 5:43 a.m.
I haven't played in an actual EDH tournament in a very long time. I have learned a few things from when I did though. Namely that this works best as a "sneaky combo" deck. It doesn't always build a threatening board presence like creature based Riku decks do with Avenger of Zendikar and whatnot. This one just tries to ramp, then quietly assemble combo pieces and tutors, then drop a copied Time Warp and hopefully assemble the combo while everyone is tapped out. Ideally, everyone will ignore you until it's too late, but if someone is playing safe, keep a counterspell up if you're going to try to combo. Don't try to combo if you aren't 90% sure you can pull it off. Also redundancy is very important. I learned that the hard way when I lost Time Warp to a Bojuka Bog and had no other way to combo.

Thanks for sharing your experience, but is there any reason you don't put in cards like Boseiju, Who Shelters All or Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir to combo off more safely?

I noticed another infinite turn combo that you didn't mention. Instead of Imprinting Remand, you can imprint Regrowth and just keep bringing Time Warp back with that.

somethingrandom6 Isochron Scepter can only have instants imprinted on it.

So I found this as a suggestion, and it is sad to see no Updates, but would any new cards make the cut? I really like Nissa, Steward of Elements personally, dropping her as a three drop to jsut get a Scry 2 isn't half bad, and late game with enough mana she could get anything from top of your deck, and with top you can manipulate that to some extent.

Add Words of Wind to combo with Time Warp and Eternal Witness. Infinite turns without decking yourself and all your opponents permanents are bounced.
July 20, 2017 2:41 a.m.
Jitsrotu I had Words of Wind at one point, but it does nothing outside of the combo so I removed it.
LordNazahn Hipparchos Hey dudes. I haven't been keeping up with magic at all recently, but I've been meaning to get back to it. Nissa is definitely worth a look. I haven't seen anything else that caught my eye but I'll update if I make any changes. Also no idea how a card got left out. I'll have to see which one.

Hi like ur deck its nice have u thought of charmbreaker devils? I used to use it in my intet deck for infinite turns less work just gotta make sure only instant or sorcery in ur gy is an extra turn and ur g2g
January 20, 2018 6:58 p.m.
yamicannon Yes! Charmbreaker Devils was actually in an earlier incarnation of this deck, and was one of the main wincons. I ran tons of clone effects, and would clone the devils and get lots of cards back each turn, then cast them again and swing for lots (usually infinitely with time warp). Unfortunately they are too slow for the deck as it currently is, namely because of the cost and that they take a turn to be useful, and even then they might not get you back what you need. Also most of the clone effects are gone. Thanks for the suggestion though.
KumaLKS Time walk is a sorcery, and scepter only imprints instants. Not to mention that one card costs more than this whole deck.

Ohh jeez, I did not realize about only instants, sorry!
February 26, 2018 1:14 p.m.
KumaLKS All good. You can achieve the same effect with Panoptic Mirror, but it's banned in EDH lol.

Nice decklist, but you have only 98 cards in your main deck.
