When I first started getting into MTG, some of the most powerful cards in the first packs I opened contained Izzet and Simic synergy. However, to my dismay, there was little creature synergy, but rather impressive instant and sorcery magnetism. At the time, I believed Blue to contain the most powerful sorceries, while Green contained the weakest, with Red somewhere in the middle. This opinion changed over time as I scoured the internet for singles and saw the full extent of color versatility. I realized that Green also contained insanely good sorceries, namely in ramp and token generation. So, this year I built my first 60-card Temur control/tempo deck. The general strategy for the deck was to sit back and counter my opponent's early threats while building passive counters on [Deeproot Champion] and [Brineborn Cutthroat], all the while generating tokens with [Talrand, Sky Summoner] and [Animation Module]. It was not a bad deck at all, and even used [Fireball] as a finisher.

Since then, I have decided to take this deck to the next level in Commander. Of course, the strategy is fairly different, but I am happy to reveal that I already own some of the more expensive cards in this deck such as [Primal Amulet], [Dack Fayden], and [Clone Legion] simply from opening packs. What this deck aims to do is to ramp into [Riku of Two Reflections], get some value off its sorceries with cards like [Double Cast], [Shark Typhoon], and [Metallurgic Summonings]. The end game (which can happen as early as turn 6) ends with the user copying or increasing the damage from [Fireball], [Clone Legion], [Hydroid Krasis], or [Gelatinous Genesis]. Many of the spells and lands have cycling, which can attain the end game quickly. In the meantime, the user turbos with cards like [Faithless Looting], [Trail of Evidence], [Dack Fayden], and finally [The Magic Mirror]. Towards the end, one can increase noncreature damage off the charts with [Double Vision], [Dictate of the Twin Gods], and [Unbound Flourishing].

I hope this deck makes instant and sorcery synergy more enjoyable for you, it certainly has for me.
