Hey guys! This is a semi-original deck idea by me. I heard people talking about making a deck utilizing the Labratory Maniac/Leveler combo, and this is my take. It ain't tier 1, but during my playtesting, it was fairly competitive. Here is a run down of everything in the deck:

Batterskull: An alternate win condition, in case we can't get the combo out, or we just need to make up some life.

Beast Within: More or less the only removal in our colors. Lucky for us it's pretty good removal.

Birds of Paradise: Mana dorks that come down turn 1. and tap for any color. What's not to love?

Chromantic Star: Can be used to cantrip, mana fix, and also if we ave the two combo pieces out, win.

Dig Through Time: In case we don't have our combo yet by the time we draw this...well we will have it now.

Gitixian Probe: If we have the combo out, all we need to do is cast this and win the game. We don't even need to pay mana!

Kiora, the Crashing Wave: We pretty much never ult her -- no she's just used as a repeatable explore that can also neutralize the creatures of opponents. Insanely good in this deck.

Laboratory Maniac: Part 1 of our combo...

Leveler: ...Part 2 of our combo

Mana Leak: Because Counterspell isn't in modern.

Serum Visions: Because Ponder and Preordian are banned.

Spellskite: Insanely useful as it can be used to neutralize whatever removal would be going to Maniac or another creature you wanna hold onto. Also stops Splinter Twin and Slippery Bogle decks in their tracks.

Turn Aside: One mana to protect our combo? I'll take it!
