This deck is basically a tri-color pseudo-burn deck, with the win condition being either burning the opponent to death or beating them down with Aetherling.
In order to keep creature decks down I have Far / Away, Tribute to Hunger, Doom Blade, Killing Wave, and Bonfire of the Damned.
Tribute to Hunger also helps keep me healthy during the mid-to-late game, as I can selectively Doom Blade or Shock squishier creatures and then heal up off Tribute to Hunger.
Bonfire of the Damned is just beautiful. Massive face-burn that generally toasts most of their creatures or forces a blanket protection spell. This is one of the main ways I deal with swarm decks, especially during the first game since I don't mainboard Slaughter Games.
Killing Wave is a fantastic pseudo-boardwipe. Since it's only a two-of I can save it for late-game and either just wipe the board with it or kill most everything that's there and make burning my opponent down far easier.
The eight different planeswalkers I keep around (two of each), Ral Zarek, Jace, Architect of Thought, Tamiyo, the Moon Sage, and Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker either serve to keep my opponent down in the mid-game (Ral, Jace, Tamiyo) or to burn them down (Ral, Bolas). Bolas is also great since I can use his +3 to slowly color screw my opponent or destroy any pesky artifacts or enchantments they've played.
I use Quicken to either speed up Killing Wave or Bonfire of the Damned, and if I'm really lucky, play Quicken and draw Bonfire, getting its Miracle cost instead. It's also nice in that I can use it to draw a card at instant speed if I really need more draw accel for cheap.
The two Opportunitys are in there because this deck can fall off mid-to-late game if I run out of cards, so they, Jace (with his -2) and Quicken can keep me with card advantage for the whole game.
